Very rude sales girl, closest to me but I’ll never go there again. She’s very arrogant and will never help out customers. To think the owner of this place is tolerating this makes it scary. How can you leave someone with such a nasty attitude to customers to be running your business. This happened last week Friday. Just responding to your message because I couldn’t figure out how to reply. I was there May 2nd, 2025 around 2pm. I had to check my call log to get the date and time because I was so upset when I left that I called your store number but of course she picked up.
I had an amazing experience at AJ African Grocery Store! The store is well-stocked with a wide variety of authentic African food items that are hard to find elsewhere. What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and ready to help me find everything I needed. They took the time to explain some of the products I wasn’t familiar with and even gave me cooking tips. It felt like shopping with family. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to others!
I rated them 4 stars because they didn't have what I needed, even though Uber Eats indicated that it was available. After I completed the payment, they then informed me that the item was out of stock. Why do they list it as available if it's actually out of stock? My main purpose for order this stuff is GALA & lacasera . Please When something is not available, just say or write sold out on the website
I ordered Cerelac from AJ African Store through Uber Eats for my 7-month-old baby, but my experience was disappointing. The store displayed the picture of Cerelac Maize on their Uber Eats page, but the item name was listed as Cerelac Honey & Wheat. I relied on the image, assuming it was the correct product, but I received the wrong item. On top of that, the item I received had a "best before" date of February 2025, which feels too close for comfort when buying baby food. As a parent, I expect better accuracy and care when it comes to products for infants. AJ African Store needs to post correct product pictures and names to avoid confusing customers. Because of their error, I’ve wasted $40 of my hard-earned money on a product my baby cannot use. This experience was frustrating, and I hope they improve their store listings in the future.
Came across this store through a Google search and went there because it was relatively close by compared to the other one I've been going to. Pros- easily accessible, clean, and well organized, carries most of the basics for a Nigerian store, gives bags. Cons- Crazily expensive! Prices are almost double what you would find elsewhere.
Great grocery store for all your African groceries amongst other things. Great customer service and the place is always fully stocked. Highly recommend!!!
Love this grocery store. They had everything I needed and the prices were very affordable. Furthermore it gave me the nostalgic feeling of back home. Kudos AJ African Grocery
