Honestly… I was completely shocked when I tried gimbap from Menkatsu for the first time. I’m not the type of person who eats “basic” kimbap. I always go for spicy pork or tuna gimbap, something with flavor. I never choose the regular one because I think it’s too blend for my preference. But one day I saw someone eating the basic gimbap at the food court, and it just looked so good. Even the smell was amazing. So I ordered it just to try… and WOW. I’m not exaggerating, it was insane. I’ve never had a basic gimbap that good in my life. From that day, I kept thinking about it. Even after a rough day, I’d find myself wanting that gimbap and nothing else. So whenever I had time, I would literally drive 25 minutes one way just to buy it. But one day, I went there and… they told me they don’t make gimbap anymore. I was honestly extremely heartbroken. They said it was because not enough people were buying it, but… I was really shocked and so sad. If I had never tasted it, maybe I wouldn’t care. But now that I know how good it was, I can’t stop thinking about it. And I can’t find that taste anywhere else. I truly hope the owner will reconsider. That basic kimbap was really something special. I sincerely hope it comes back.

Had their sweet potato katsu before, it was good, a lil too oily compared to other katsu restaurants within the food court, but the flavors were quite unique, still good thooo

Ordered same menu that I order all the time (at least once every other week for the past few months). It came out differently (different from the description on the menu) and when I asked them a guy from the kitchen insisted that it was always like and. Very rude and disrespectful. Customers are not stupid. I know what I was ordering and if I knew what that was what I would get- I would have ordered something else. 늘 먹던 내장국밥 오늘은 다르게 나와서 왜 이러냐니까 원래 그렇게 나간다고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 다신 안가여~

Putting everything else aside, the food just doesn’t taste good. I’ve tried several dishes, and honestly, I can’t even tell what kind of flavor it is or what country’s cuisine it’s supposed to be — it’s just strange. It’s to the point where I can’t even call it Korean food. The gukbap wasn’t too bad, though. Please reduce the number of menu items and focus more on improving the taste.

가격은 타 식당 대비 저렴하지만….음식 맛이나 퀄이…만족하기에 부족합니다. 접객 하시는 뷴은 친절하십니다. You will get what you paid for. Service is good and friendly, but the quality and taste of food is same as fast foods in food court.

I've eaten here a handful of times. Usually, we get two soups (Soondae or Pork) and a plate of Cheese Katsu. The quality of food is fairly consistent and satisfactory. However, the only complaint would be the amount of rice that comes with Cheese Katsu. It's literally about three spoonfuls. Even the rice they give you with the soup look like somebody ate off of the bowl. Today, I had my very last meal from this place. The cashier - a middle-aged Korean lady - greeted me in English after having me wait a while due to her meal prep. She continued to speak English to me even after I greeted her in Korean so I proceeded to let her know I'm Korean. Then she had the audacity to ask me "You are? Why do you not look Korean then?!" So I was fairly pissed off at that point. Upon cash payment, the POS screen indicated I was to receive about 50 cents as change. The lady then tells me I should just give up the change because she's out of small coins - also added that should be her tip. I then ask her what the hell she's talking about - not because I didn't understand what she said but because I was flabbergasted. She then hands me a loonie and tells me to get change for her. At that point, I snapped and told her this is so wrong on many levels. If she explained her situation I would've been very understanding but telling a customer to relinquish their change without even making an effort to produce it from other sources is downright lazy and unprofessional. She ended up apologizing but the experience was just so disgusting start to finish that I made up my mind to stop dining there.

stumbled across this food court and decided to try something here since there was quite a few people waiting in line. First off, the guy at the cashier is rude. We asked if they accept Amex and we proceeded to pay. There was a option on the machine asking if you want to tip and we skipped it. The cashier then gave us attitude and said people who pay with AMEX usually tip. Like excuse me It's an option, not mandatory. If you're that salty about it why don't you increase your prices? Food on the other hand was mediocre. We ordered a spicy pork gukbap and it had no flavour, just tasted like spicy water. Never coming back.

Thank you for visiting. However, I cannot agree that the quality of my food is poor. It would be more helpful to my business if you could tell me specifically what kind of food you ate. Thanks ⭐️Happy new year ⭐️
