The Vietnamese iced coffee here is one of the best I've had anywhere. The coffee jellies in the drink are crazy good. I Always stop here whenever I'm in town
I ordered a surprise bag from the “too good to go” app. That’s my way of trying new places. We got three different drinks, and to be honest one went straight to the sink, the other two weren’t good, and pretty much tasted the same. The jello stuff at the bottom does not go through the straw, and keeps clogging it, making the experience of drinking it frustrating. We’ve had bubble teas and similar drinks in the past, and I don’t remember it being an issue. The wait was longer than expected, and I got an eye roll when I said I was picking up a “too good to go” order. Now I understand that these are supposed to be leftovers, and I paid very little for it, but that’s a shop I’m not going into again.
The flavor was good, and given the oversized cup, the price makes sense—but the portion is so big that after a couple of bites I was done and the rest went to waste. The store should consider offering smaller size options for people who just want a light dessert after a meal. I definitely won’t return—not because of the taste, but because the price and portion size are more than I can finish.
I went to here on September 24 at 8:56 pm. The staff told me the store was already closed at 9:00 pm. But according to Google, the closing time is 10:00 pm. The staff said the two stores are separate, but even if the closing time is 9:00 pm, shouldn’t I still be able to make a purchase when I arrived at 8:56? I felt very angry, and the service was terrible.
I ordered a regular-size banana milk tea with tapioca and I got charged $8.25. The tea flavour isn’t that strong, but the banana flavour was tasty, refreshing and they used real banana. The tapioca was really good quality, warm, soft and chewy. For the price though, it wasn’t worth it. I could get a larger size and more toppings at a different bubble tea shop for the price they charged me. I wish they had a simple black milk tea option in the menu but there wasn’t. But store’s main attraction is their che/jelly desserts, which look great, I just didn’t try it during my visit. I probably won’t come back, it was too expensive and service was slow.
Food is really good, but service a little slow. The place is a cafe/bar vibe, small alcohol choices, and great food. Also, the only place here in vaughan i saw that sold mangonada, must try, very mexican drink aswell as filipino favourite halo-halo.
