Amazing food everytime I order Bombay chicken Sweet and Sour chicken Chicken Pakora....all so good My go to Hakka place for sure, prices have gone up so a bit more pricier but still worth it
What a beautiful Restaurant this is! Hakka Pavilion serves some really great food & I highly suggest that you try it. Special thanks for the extra dessert too. All the very best! :)
I ordered the Hakka noodles, spring rolls, and Manchurian with gravy. Honestly, the flavors didn’t meet my expectations — I found the food quite disappointing. If you’re looking for authentic Hakka cuisine, this might not be the best choice, but it can suffice if you’re simply looking for something to fill your stomach.
I don’t why the hate. You know the food is good when a kid comes out and takes your order. I got the Chilli Chicken for take out. At first I thought they had small portions but when you sit down and open the box, there is actually a lot of food. 10/10?
It was my first time, I wish I would have read the reviews and look at the pictures first, I didn’t know that its a take out mostly. But there were few seatings, but the food they were serving was in take out container boxes. Service was good, very nice customer service. Just the food, i gave it 2 rating. I did not like the food at all. People who likes to eat very bland food, low in flavor, very mild in taste and lacking in strong seasoning or spices, they would actually love there food . I am very fond of soup. I orderd chicken soup with out the corns. it was so sweet and the smell was so bad, I couldn’t even took a second sip. Rest of the food I already mentioned, it was very bland food. I would not recommend this place and I won’t go there again.
The place was very spacious. It had seating as well as space. The food came out quick. The staff were super friendly and kind. I was driving by and wanted a little something to snack on on my way home which is less than three minutes from this spot. I ordered the vegetarian hakka noodles (non spicy) for my wife and I to split with hot sauce on the side so i could have a bit of a kick. To be honest it wasn’t bad at all. It was pretty good for a fast take out Canadian Chinese Hakka. The Noodles were like Chow Mein style but chopped in halves. The noodles weren’t springy but they weren’t mushy either. This stir fry had an umami flavor profile, very simple, and a bit sweet. It had strong green onion flavor. I did taste white pepper which i enjoy. The vegetables used obviously were green onions and a few pieces of shredded lettuce and tiny broccoli.
I stumbled across this Hakka restaurant while visiting Vaughan and was told that it's only been 3 days since its opening. I really enjoyed the food, which was better than a lot of other hakka Chinese places I've been to. The only downside I'd say is they are set up to prioritize delivery/take away more than sit in. Being more of a dine in experience person, I'd love for them to have a nicer set up for dine in. Nevertheless, I can't emphasize enough how good the food was.
