Found this little heaven today. Fresh, flaky croissants and even though I’m not a latte lover, I was convinced that a latte can be velvety and delicious. Definitely worth checking out
Came here for the first time today as I was in the area for an appointment and I tried the Americano, it was absolutely delicious! I also had the prosciutto and ham croissant, a perfect combination to have to start your day. I will definitely come back here if I am ever in the area.
We were working upstairs and wanted a coffee, 4 of us all had ice coffee. It's made with real coffee, not some water down blended crap. Was really good and I think 3 or so bucks each. Very reasonable. If working in the building again will definitely go back.
Beautiful Italian café Alessia did a great job helping me out with grabbing a small bite and an espresso. The Espresso: From the crema it looked a fairly-extracted and the taste had a good balance between acidic, sweet and bitter. In the mouth it felt consistent, could describe it as creamy body (it’s rich without being overly heavy). The aroma I cannot quite remember as I didn’t spend enough time to sniff it properly so I’d have to come back for that. Overall kool experience :)
Not sure what to make of this joint. When I came in there’s a sense of exclusivity - patrons who visit regularly are well taken care of, strangers to the area are not welcome (if you catch my drift). The pistachio croissant is excellent. Prices were a tad bit expensive.
Update: I'm really surprised this place is still in business. Their drinks are sub par, but incredibly expensive. The service is lacking and people certainly still come here because it's the only coffee place on the plaza. Grab your coffee elsewhere. We ordered three drinks, including a basic coffee, to go. Everything was amazing, but it came to $15 with a suggested tip even though we were not seated and just picking it up to go. Cute place though and we likely will return but not tip if we aren't seated.
The owner/employees of this place do not adhere to COVID guidelines. He never has a mask on. There are many instances where he’s chatting with customers inside the cafe, who also don’t have masks on. Putting a sign on your door doesn’t stop the virus from spreading. I will take my business to a cafe where owners apply common sense for safety of the general public.
