Fabricland is a great place if you love sewing, crafting, or making anything textile-related. The selection is HUGE — rows and rows of fabrics in every color, texture, and pattern you can think of, from everyday cottons to more specialty materials like fleece, faux fur, and upholstery fabric. They also carry seasonal prints, which is perfect if you’re making things for holidays or themed projects. The store isn’t just fabric either — they have a good range of sewing notions like zippers, thread, elastic, trims, and buttons. You can also find patterns, home décor supplies, and sometimes clearance deals that are really worth digging through. Pricing can be a little on the higher side if you’re not a member, but Fabricland has frequent sales and discounts that make a big difference. A membership card is worth it if you shop there often. The store itself can feel a bit overwhelming at first, since there’s so much stock packed into the aisles. Sometimes it takes patience to hunt for exactly what you want. Staff are usually helpful and knowledgeable about sewing, and they can guide you to the right section if you’re lost or unsure which material is best for your project. Overall, Fabricland is one of the best go-to stores in Canada for fabric and sewing supplies. It’s not a “pop in and out quickly” kind of place — you’ll probably end up browsing for a while — but if you enjoy crafting or sewing, it’s worth the trip.
Who wants to go to a place that opens up at 12 while ather buissness around them open at 10am Fabric land is too sexy for ather struggling buissness around them trying to survive month to month this is not a place I would like to leave my hard earned money.
they used to sell rit dye for less than $10, now they doubled the price to $18, and post a %50 off for rit dye. idk if this is good or bad marketing but ill go to michaels across the street
Staff was very friendly and after we asked about what we wanted that pointed out out for us. It was not very busy and that all seemed to be following covid protocols. I would go there again
Great store as it is well maintained and clean. The staff are extremely helpful and respectful. Had very nice and good fabric, sure it is pricey but you get what you pay for.
Fabricland has long been my go to place for fabrics and sewing notions, and as an added bonus, I love scouring their remnants for fun and unusual fabrics for my sewing projects.
Special thank you to the lady at the cash who instead of simply taking my money, took the time to validate that the thread I was buying matched my needs. She walked me over and helped me find something more reasonable that still matched the colour. Service like that is rare. Merci beaucoup!
