Went in for a private lesson with my late Grandmother's old Elna. I received great instruction as well as help finding a reference video for getting started on my machine. I made a cute little pillow that I gifted to my grandfather to put on her bed. I was impressed with both the instruction and the stock of the studio!
A friend and I took the PJ pant workshop and it was SO MUCH FUN!! This was the first time I've touched a sewing machine since grade 7 home economics class. lol. Karine is an amazing instructor! She didn't just teach us how to make PJs. She helped us learn about fabrics, how to understand patterns, and explained how small changes can change up the design. This was all in addition to teaching us how to use a sewing machine and a serger. I would highly recommend SEW far, SEW good Sewing Club!
I am having a great time in my sewing classes. We are creating a wardrobe of patterns that actually fit me fir the first time ever. The class is fun and goes by in a flash. Meeting new people is fun too.
Attended the 3 hour mommy learns to sew with a friend. Absolutely loved it! We both knew absolutely nothing about sewing starting the class and left with a cute receiving blanket and newborn hat. We learned how to read a pattern, use a pattern, use the machine and a serger, oh and of course make items! Looking into my first machine with this newfound confidence and can't wait to attend a future workshop !
So fun! I went in to the workshop with very little knowledge about sewing, but I walked out of the intro session with knowledge about the machine, cutting fabric, measurement, patterns, etc. It was definitely worth it! Karine was a great teacher and it was obvious that she knows her stuff!
Took the intro class with a friend and we had so much fun. It was just the two of us with Karine, which was nice and intimate. We learned so much in 3 hours!
I took an introductory sewing workshop and Karine was great! Very approachable and a great teacher. I came away with the workshop with a pillow I made and the knowledge and confidence to continue making things at home.
