Visiting Toronto (GTA), we came across this small resto.A resto serving Filipino food but specializing on Pinoy street food.If you miss Filipino (pinoy) food, this is a place to go.You have an option of eating with your hands (kamay in tagalog) instead of spoon/fork. Don't worry, plastic gloves are provided when eating with hands.Eating with hands is called Kamayan in the Philippines. Its a form of getting together during fiesta or any other celebration. We tried the sisig / chicken inasal / pinoy pork barbecue with Java rice. The dessert we tried is Samalamig (a sweet sugary drink with tapioca),Leche flan, and taho. Place is cozy,Filipino tradional street food setting.Other than friendly Staff, the food is a winner!!Owner is also friendly. As for the price, its reasonable. You'll probably spend $20 to $25 per person. This place is definitely a bang for a buck.I highly recommend you this place when you're in the GTA.

Went here today with my wife, brother-in-law and his family. The food is great and affordable. Will come again in the future. Thank you for a great experience.

We’ve been loyal customers of Eskenita Food since 2018, and we keep coming back for a reason — the food is absolutely delicious!️ Every visit feels like a taste of home. The flavors are always on point, and you can tell the dishes are made with love and care. Whether it’s Chicken inasal and Siomai everything we’ve tried has been consistently good. Plus, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic and affordable Filipino comfort food, Eskenita is definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

Good food by good people! I always go here every week to order some of my favourites growing up! From balut to silog to mais con yelo! Everything is a hit!

Amazing food with great flavour! Owner was extremely friendly and welcoming! We ordered pork skewers and chicken skewers and the best lemon drink! I’ll definitely be back!

Great Food. Great Filipino delicacies like Goto and grilled isaw. The downside is only the TAHO which is dry (seems already a tofu when it was served and eaten) and a waste of our dollars at that time. because it was very far from Manila, Taho we grew up. but hopefully, it will be adjusted and developed to the authentic style we knew back home. but besides this Great food will always be expected.

First time here. Food was delicious! Good service and friendly staff. Fair price. Will definitely come back here. Sarap ng pagkain :) Worth it ang byahe from ottawa!
