This company is very dishonest and very expensive compared to others. Go with Cooperators instead. They charge you insurance for a year at a time in advance instead of billing monthly like normal companies. If you choose not renew they charge a full year of insurance costs as a cancellation fee. They are predory, vulturous and claim that a non-renewal is not the same as a cancellation (the latter carries a hefty penalty according to them). They deny inbound calls. Stay away. I told them I was. It renewing. I got no money back rather a bill for $870.48 "non-renewal" fee. It is highway robbery.
I suggest that anybody considering Ferrari & Associates should avoid them at all costs. I had an experience very similar to Birun and after speaking to multiple staff there, it became clear that the whole brokerage is poorly run, lacking accountability, ineffective, and incompetent. I ended up with Ferrari because Michael Cadesky called me when he started working there and offered to provide a quote for my business's commercial auto and liability coverage, he was able to offer a better price so I made the switch. Things seemed okay at first but after a while I started to notice numerous errors being made. For example, I purchased a vehicle and requested to have it added to the policy and it was never added until months later when I followed up to confirm. Staff were constantly leaving the firm and I was communicating with new people all the time, leading to multiple problems. Eventually it became clear that I needed to have a written record of what was being said and I requested that all communications take place through email. For some reason, Michael continued to call me all the time and I constantly needed to remind him that I would need an email re-stating any conversations over the phone (which he usually didn't do). The main problem came when I requested to have a driver added, and I was not informed that there would be any additional cost for this. In the past, I had been able to add drivers with no additional cost. I noticed nearly a month later that my roughly $1700 monthly premium increased by $521, I emailed and asked that this be addressed/corrected. Ferrari staff did nothing and another month's premium was withdrawn with an additional unauthorized increase of $521. I cancelled my policy when I realized that no one at Ferrari was willing to take accountability for the lack of communication and resulting unauthorized increased premiums. I eventually ended up speaking to Carmela Marino, the Chief Operations Officer. She was not helpful and further exemplified the incompetence of staff of Ferrari. She refused to answer my simple question of whether Ferrari's brokers are required to inform clients of increases to premiums when changes are requested, leading me to believe that the answer is "no". I wouldn't trust Ferrari & Associates for any services after seeing that they are incompetent from the top down. You're putting yourself at risk if you decide to engage with Ferrari & Associates.
I have been with them for about 6 months now, honestly Michael has been great! He responds back right away with any of my questions, and comes through with what I've needed so far.
I like to say this company is the worst insurance that i have ever seen in my life , strongly bad management & not professional at all & disorganized & confused….. , they are only good to take your money and make you sign their paperwork to still your money legally.They can also put you in the worst financial situation which may takes you to cover in few years! Short story , I’ve got my business policy with echelon through Ferrari insurance . You can not believe if i say they canceled my policy because they couldn’t charge my credit card due to their mistake!! And they didn’t even tell me ( call or mail or email.. or whatever) . So i was driving my vehicle with no insurance for more than two months! Until I’ve got a call from echelon that you have your unpaid balance! Then i called Ferrari, they were totally confused. And funny part is ; after my phone call , they charge the same credit card that they were saying -we don’t have any updated info in our system. So again i called them that how come you could charge me now but not before . All the infos are the same and i know money is there !? They answered again with excuses that it’s not us and it’s echelon!!!!! And finally they send my balance to collection agency???? Please go anywhere else to get your insurance and do not waist your time and money here with Ferrari insurance.
Their Personal Lines Account Manager, Usha Ramhadar, has no qualities to be jealous of, professional or otherwise. My experiences here from home insurance to auto insurance has been fraught with miscommunication, poor attention to detail and unprofessionalism. These situations are what motivated me to deal solely through email when dealing with brokers and insurance companies. In a climate where your expectations of your broker are to inform you of your rights and have your best interest at heart, you can expect the opposite here. Especially so when involved in not at fault accidents with dashcam footage. The service was so unique my closing lawyer had a few choice words to share when requesting proof of home insurance. I can't speak on their other services but I can say I will never recommend this place in good conscience to anyone for home or auto insurance.
On the phone for half an hour explaining to different people, cut several times and calling again and again and no response after all. Unprofessional , confused and unhelpful
I ask them an insurance for my martial art dojo, and 6 months after I found out that they didn’t insure me for what I ask making my business in jeopardy
