I brought my mom in for a massage with Alicia who came highly recommended. She was very understanding and gentle to my mom's aches and pains and so, she had a very therapeutic and relaxed experience with Alicia. We will definitely consider booking again! :))
I booked a full body massage today and it was honestly such a disappointment. The guy named Sam only worked on my back and neck — he didn’t even put oil on my legs, just stretched them a bit and called it a day. That’s not a full body massage at all. To make things worse, before I booked they told me they work with Green Shield insurance and that I’d be covered. But after the massage, they suddenly said “oh no, you need a doctor’s note.” Super misleading. I paid $123 for something that was nothing like what was advertised. I feel completely scammed and I’m seeking a refund. Avoid this place — they don’t deliver what they promise and clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction.

He’s supported me through anxiety, miscarriage, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, scoliosis, all kind of pain, injuries, my breath, digestion, headaches, a concussion! I highly recommend him as a TCM acupuncturist.
I came back to Nu Life for Microdermabrasion (Groupon). I was reluctant given that my last visit with SAHAR left a bitter taste....but there was actually nothing wrong with the Spa itself so I decided to give it anther try opting for a different esthetician. I asked for Marcela given the recent reviews I saw were positive. She was so sweet, personable, professional, and I appreciated her short concise explanation of what to expect in treatment. Answered any questions I had too. Treatment: She was very thorough with the microdermabrasion, performing two passes. Treatment included a cleanse, manual extractions, mask and massage (head and arms). it was relaxing and she was very present, intentional with her care. Skin was smooth and soft after. The only [constructive] critique I have is I wish she wasn't as gentle with cleansing and massage, a little bit umph/pressure would have made the experience top notch! It just felt literally like she was just skimming the skin with her feathery light touch... like just GET IN THERE GIRL! ;) would recommend, especially with that price!
