Delicious shawarma and excellent service! Pital Land Shawarma on Langstaff is a hidden gem. The food is always fresh, portions are generous, and the staff are super friendly. One of the best spots in Vaughan for a quick and tasty meal!
After the first time I ordered i should of known better but I like to give people a second try at fixing things.. Food was tasteless and they keep sending me the wrong stuff and instead of calling me they tell me to complain to uber everytime they sent the wrong stuff instead of NOT sending the wrong stuff to begin with. The bag was fully open, nothing was sealed and its just very wrong and unsafe. Terrible , just terrible.
I mean all pita lands have the same food this one always just seems to have 1 auntie working on her own its depressing and slows delivery and quality (nothing against the servers im sure they are working ridiculous hours)
The taste was alright—pretty much like any other shawarma I’ve had. What really stood out, though, was how pricey it was. $13.29 for just one shawarma feels steep, especially when I could get two for around $15 at other places. I’d suggest reconsidering the pricing.
Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience I ordered chicken shawarma, garlic potatoes, and a falafel bowl for Canada Day, and it was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The chicken shawarma had a foul smell and tasted off—clearly not fresh and potentially spoiled. The garlic potatoes were mushy and more like mashed potatoes than roasted or seasoned sides. To make matters worse, the sauce containers were not sealed properly, and by the time we reached our destination, everything had spilled and created a huge mess. It was disgusting, and we felt sick after trying the food. I don’t normally write reviews, but this was unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, and I hope the restaurant takes food safety and proper packaging more seriously.
After my daughter delivered our precious grandson, the first thing she asked for was a Falafel wrap from Pita Land - Weston Road location. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. They even labeled the wraps "Mom" and "Dad" - nice touch.
