I brought my guitar in to get the strings changed and had the best service great father and son shop. Thank you guys for being so fast… they were done within the hour
My daughter has been going to Merriam for 6 years and she loves to learn new things and different techniques. The teachers have lots of patience and staffs are so friendly and very accommodating and flexible. Kudos to Paymon who are always there to help us.
Amazing school! Teachers are so patient and encouraging and management really tries hard to be accommodating to scheduling. There are lots of opportunities for kids to perform monthly if they wish and really break out of their shell. Both my kids are in piano and love it here! Thank you Merriam staff!
Paymon is so helpful and helps organize my children's lessons. Noemi has been a patient and amazing instructor for my 6 year old. He is always engaged and looks forwards to playing piano with Noemi. Greg has taught my older son to play guitar at age 7. He is so encouraging and makes music fun for his students.
I would 100% recommend the school. The instructors are professional and friendly. My child has been taking both piano and voice/vocal lessons at this location and the instructors go beyond everyone’s expectation. Both Mrs Yolanda and Ms Lauren are incredible exceptional instructors/teachers. They motivate their students and they make learning fun. My child looks forward to the lessons and is learning something new every week. Definitely a 5 plus star rating.
I love this music school. I’ve been a music teacher for over 20 years and have recently started taking lessons again to help refine my skills in certain areas. I had driven past Merriam lots of times but had never been inside. I decided to try taking lessons there. Six months in, I’m really glad I did. The staff is very friendly, the teachers are caring and enthusiastic, and the school is extremely well organized and looked after. The regular performing opportunities and other services Merriam offers outside of the regular weekly lessons take it to a whole different level compared to other music schools.
Our family has been thoroughly impressed with the music program offered at Merriam. We started with our youngest in private piano lessons for the 1st couple of years and then transitioned to a group class where she has continued to thrive. The experience has been fantastic and she can't wait to go to class each week. This past summer both of our children took part in musical theatre camps offered by the school and are both excited to return next summer! Their experience was so positive they have both also joined a band program now being offered by the school. We would definitely recommend the Merriam Vaughan campus for any of our friends in the area contemplating music lessons.
