We enrolled our 2.5-year-old son in Chabad Romano daycare in Maple, and the entire experience turned out to be deeply disappointing. One day, our son said a swear word he’d picked up somewhere. The teacher’s reaction was to pull him aside and tell him that Hashem (God) is disappointed in him, that God doesn’t love people who use such language, and that the words he used were very ugly. She questioned him about where he learned it, which we found extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for a 2.5-year-old child. Following this, the teacher repeatedly called my wife as if there was an emergency, only to reprimand her as well. When I addressed the situation with the manager, I received no understanding or apology—only more blame. After all of that, I requested the footage from the rabbi and his wife, who is the director of the daycare. They refused to provide any video footage and did not apologize or take any responsibility. In fact, they simply told us they no longer wanted our child in their daycare—not realizing we had already pulled him out. In short, the rabbi and his wife, who run this institution, showed a complete lack of support and accountability. This is not the kind of leadership or environment any parent should have to deal with. We felt disrespected and would strongly advise other parents to stay away from this daycare.

So noisy! I live nearby, and I constantly get disturbed by their noise during some event. I respect their activities, but please do your respect for people living around.
Chabad Romano is an amazing synagogue filled with warm and friendly people who truly care. It is a wonderful place of worship and a venue to celebrate all of your milestones. High level of professionalism, organization and attention to detail. Looking forward to planning future events and recommending Chabad Romano to our clients. E&B Event Decor
I started attending regular services after meeting the Rabbis for the first time and being asked when was the last time I put tefillian on and I respond 60 years ago and he then ordered me to roll up my sleeve. Everyone at the synagogue is very inspirational and very friendly & one would never assert that this is an orthodox place of worship. I love recognizing my Judaic faith and being part of the Jewish Community. Thank you Rabbi Shlomo and Rabbi Mendel and all the wonderful staff, especially Alexander Karelin who is my Mentor and who opened up a new world for me.
This synagogue has a mice problem. The custodian tries traps, bait, mice, everything. Nothing works. Finally, he goes to the rabbi and explains the problem. “I have the solution,” the rabbi says. “Well, what is it?” says the custodian. “It’s a foolproof plan,” the rabbi says, smiling. “I’ll give them all Bar Mitzvahs — we’ll never see them again!”
Very good people and good place, we like I come on holidays and do the prayers with them, it’s always pleasure to come and see the guys, we also can’t wait to have the camp there, my kids can not forget it, see you next time ?
