It's a cute resturant with delicious food and super friendly staff. We ordered kashk bademjan, koobideh, kebab torsh, and gheimeh and all were great. Highly recommended.
If you are looking for excellent Persian food and not a crowded place then this restaurant is definitely for you. The food was so authentic especially their kebabs.
I’m so happy Rumi opened up near my area! There weren’t many good restaurants around Etobicoke and Vaughan, and all the nice Persian spots were always in Richmond Hill or way further. I’m genuinely so glad we finally have a quality Persian restaurant close to home. I ordered through Uber Eats and they even packed me some extra tahdig which honestly made my day. The food was fresh, flavourful, and truly felt homemade. Can’t wait to order again!

Small restaurant, felt it was a little bit expensive but overall we enjoyed the selection, presentation and taste of food. Restaurant small but tastefully decorated. Adding Persian or even rumi music rather than pop english music would add to the ambiance. We were here for an event in Brompton and location here was very convenience. Overall service was good but could be a bit more attentive.
Just simply amazing!! Delicious food Ordered the eggplant starter which comes with a flat bread, the Olives and the chicken leg main course. Will most definitely go again
I called last night to put in a take out order for some dinner and decided against it due to the rude behaviour of the server who I spoke with. As it was my first time ordering at this restaurant, I naturally had a few questions, which were all met with annoyance. When I asked if they had Borani (Borani-e Esfanaj), the server rudely told me that "we don't have that, this is a Persian restaurant". Which was surprising because borani is a Persian dish (?). I don't particularly care where the server is from, but she probably isn't Iranian or doesn't know much about the cuisine. I wouldn't want someone like her to be dealing with customers if I was the store owner. I'm not someone who goes out of my way to leave reviews on anything, but it was extremely upsetting to be spoken to in the way I was. It's a shame because the reviews make it seem like the food here would have been good. Edit: It seems that the restaurant has replied to me, but I want to make it clear that the issue wasn’t the fact that the item was not on the menu, but rather how extremely rude the person was in conveying that it wasn’t available.
