Amazing location for ninja warrior and climbing. both of my kids are in lessons there and they love it. the ninja warrior program has a competitive stream - one of the only ones in the GTA.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Serious Concerns About Coaching Quality & Child Engagement We joined this program based on a very positive introductory session with Coach Makayla, who was warm, encouraging, and clearly attentive. During that session, we were explicitly assured that since several children in the group were already familiar with the drills, our child (Arjun) would receive extra guidance and attention to help him transition comfortably. That assurance played a key role in our decision to move forward. Unfortunately, none of this was followed through once Coach Cass took over. From the very first regular session, there was no introduction, no acknowledgment, and no effort to engage our child, despite him being new to the program and younger than some of the other children. He was left to observe and self-navigate in a group already well acquainted with the routines. The promised additional support was completely absent. When we, as parents, attempted a brief and respectful introduction, the interaction was dismissed, creating the impression that parental communication—or even basic courtesy—was unwelcome. Most concerning was the impact on our child. A child who entered excited and confident after the introductory session left feeling confused, discouraged, and sidelined. In youth programs, this is not a minor oversight—engagement, reassurance, and guidance are fundamental responsibilities. Our child should not have had to become a “learning example” for internal correction, feedback, or accountability around coaching conduct. It is deeply unfortunate that a child’s experience had to suffer in order for issues in professionalism or awareness to be recognized. To be clear: Coach Makayla demonstrated professionalism, warmth, and clear communication. Coach Cass showed a consistent lack of engagement, follow-through, and attentiveness toward a new child. Parents considering this facility should ask very specifically which coach their child will be assigned to. Based on our firsthand experience, I would strongly advise parents—especially those with younger or first-time children—to avoid sessions under Coach Cass. This review is shared so other families can make an informed decision and avoid placing their child in a situation that is easily preventable with proper coaching standards.

These past 4 years with Steel Peak and its community has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. Every day I've watched people walk in unsure of themselves and leave a little stronger, a little braver, and a lot more proud. There's something special about this place, an energy that lifts you the moment you step inside. The community here is supportive in a way that's rare to find. Coaches cheer for every victory, members encourage each other like old friends, and the environment just radiates positivity and growth. Fun events of any kind often happen in here too! From indoor rock climbing to Ninja Warrior classes, seeing kids light up when they conquer a new obstacle or watching adults surprise themselves with what they're capable of has been an absolute joy! I'm incredibly grateful for the years I've spent here and all the incredible people that make it who it is. To the owners of the gym, Topher, Justin and Michelle, as well as the staff and community that feel like family, thank you for making Steel Peak feel like a second home. If you are a newcomer looking to try new things, whether it be a hobby or a career, come to Steel Peak! I highly recommend bringing your friends and family, as we will gladly join you on your rise to the peak!

Went here with my two kids and it’s a fantastic facility. The equipment is well maintained and I saw two staff members diligently checking The equipment upon opening to ensure that everything was installed and secured safely. The venue is well ventilated and Cool, which probably helps the guests/athletes and itdoes not have a musky smell to it at all, which can happen with a lot of facilities like this. With regards to staff, Justin was helping my children through the ninja courses. He took the time to explain everything with intent and care, and repeatedly came back to share tips to my son who has a passion for obstacle courses and all things ninja warrior. I wish this location was closer to home for me as I would make sure to sign my son up for classes here - it is clear that management and staff called high standards for experience and technique. Fantastic experience and I will be back for sure.

Great facilty with amazing staff. Always there to help you and guide you as you boulder as a beginner or pro or venture into Ninja . Always a great time whenever we visit

Great climbing gym for all levels and ages. They got great selections for V0-V8. Clean gym. Spacious. Can get a bit loud with how many kids run around depending on the time and day. The Ninja course is a great addition to the gym. The staff there go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and good customer relations. It feels like a great community there.

Really nice new gym, staff is great, setting is awesome. Only place with a climb crack currently in the GTA! *Google wants an update a year later: if anything the gym is better now than it was a year ago, and they've set even more cracks than last year! ** next good update: still great! Usually pretty quiet, fun sets and lots of problems.
