On December 17, I visited this Longo’s location and did a relatively large amount of shopping. The young staff members were very polite, and when I asked about the location of some items, they guided me well. The cashier was also completely professional and friendly. However, my experience at the meat section was the complete opposite. There was no one available to help, except for a young, thin man with glasses who suddenly became angry when I asked a simple question and started yelling, even though there were no other customers waiting. He repeatedly said things like, “I’m busy, I can’t, go find it yourself, you have eyes look!” His aggressive hand and body movements made me feel that he was trying to intimidate me with his behavior. I remained calm, but in the end, I received no help at all. In the month of December, with Christmas approaching and when a cheerful and friendly atmosphere is expected, the behavior of one angry employee can ruin an entire shopping experience. That said, I would like to thank the rest of the staff at this store for their professional behavior.
I went back to buy a few things and a slice of pizza. The man at the counter told me to go pay for the pizza slice before giving it to me. Are these some kind of new rules? I found it funny because I’ve never seen anything like that anywhere. I had to take all my groceries, go to the checkout, stand in line, pay for the pizza slice, take it, and then stand in line again to pay for the rest of my items. It was awful! I guess he was afraid I’d eat the pizza in the store just because I didn’t look very tidy. People in work clothes shouldn’t feel discriminated against! I hope I won’t see that rude man next time.
Love this grocery store. It is always clean. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and I always find what i'm looking for meat is always fresh and affordable.
Longo's at this location is fantastic. It is one of the most great stores to shop at and has a meet in the back or they can cut anything you like and the staff is great easy parking easy in and out very convenient great location great customer service.
One of the best supermarkets in the area. The staff in the produce department is very helpful and goes over and above to help me get what I need. The two complaints I have is the always raw avocados that don’t ripen at home in room temperature but just turn black inside. Also, their deli meats are expensive with better tasting cheaper brands readily available. Excellent selection of other products and great seasonal offerings.
The staff are all kids who don't want to be there, and lack social skills and manners. Not even a hi, how are you, thank you or eye contact. Nicoletta at the cash register is so rude and obviously miserable.
The place seems clean and staff seem polite and helpful. But the food.... I got some croissants that were burnt on the bottom but soft ontop. They weren't expired. It just felt like they baked them in a layer of butter and fried the bottom. I was not a fan of the surprise crunch... We got some bacon that was pretty expired. Surprised how long past due that was. Noticed when we got home. Didn't brave testing. Today I go in to get stuff for BLTs. Confirm bacon isn't expired. Then getting tomatoes I'm attacked by a gang of flies. After a minute of valiant fighting I realize damn tomatoes are rotten and obviously I'm trespassing on the flies property. My bad. Moral of the story check everything they sell. Seems like food might not be rotated enough. They trick you with clean floors. These are all different visits. I've also had several visits with zero issues so I'd give you 2 5 stars but it's not an option so I rounded down since the stuff is expensive. At least No Frills is cheap and questionable quality
