I found out about making waves on facebook, and what really got my attention was FREE when your baby under 7 months old! I was like woah okay… at that time my son was about to start 3 months, I enroll my son at the Maple location which it is a drive but I was like let’s see how it goes for my son! My son is now turning 8 months in couples days believe or not he loves swimming ! He’s been coming to making waves at Maple location since he was 3 months and didn’t pay a dime until he turning 7 Months. I love the trainers and staff absolutely so nice and caring. My son has a lot of energy when he comes to his classes he loves the water… I really like how they give out certificates when they finish their season classes, We are excited to receive his 2nd certificate when he completes his Fall class in couple more days! Definitely recommend making waves at the Maple location and it’s definitely worth our 40 minute drive. Thank you so much guys ! (3 months old picture July vs now )

We ❤️ Making Waves! Whether it's the friendly staff, clean facilities or all of the fun that happens in the water, this place is great. Excellent instruction and great coaches. Keep up the good work!

I signed my baby up for the free lessons for 0-7 months and additional lessons until he is 9 months old. The staff and instructors at the Vaughan location are the sweetest, most helpful, patient and kind people! Our instructor Madison was truly a blessing to have. As a first time mom taking your new born swimming can be a bit nerve wracking but Madison was such good energy and such a wonderful intelligent and helpful and patient person! We wish she could be our instructor all the time !! We will love and miss her so much. Highly recommend the Vaughan location its very clean and private and the families that go there are also very nice. MADISON WE LOVE YOU! Goodluck in school!

After going through a 5 minute trial with one of the instructors, we decided to enroll the kids because they really liked him. My kids have been taking semi private lessons since they were toddlers, or 5 to 7 years, and are very strong swimmers. A bit of a bait and switch as we ended up getting stuck with someone that was taking apart my kids' swimming technique, and being grouped with another person that could barely swim (apparently at a higher level than my kids, which boggles my mind) , holding up the line, resulting in a lot of just standing around. If you're an average or strong swimmer, I wouldn't recommend this place since the pool is way too small and shallow (no way you can tread water), and the instructor and supervisor will spend more time knit picking and discussing their flawed levels that makes no sense whatsoever; don't fall for the charm offensive during your 5 minute trial! Forgot to mention, no make up classes, even though they'll tell you otherwise.

Went here a few years back to learn and break some bad habits from learning on YouTube videos. Very friendly instructors. Fast forward, I’ve been taking my kids here for a few years now. It’s obviously more expensive than the community centre classes but you get 1 instructor for every 3 kids. Only downside is thst there is no deep end.

Amazing place. Extremely friendly staff. You can watch the lessons and get feedback from the instructors after each and every lesson on your child's progress.

I have tried many swim schools for my 3 kids. I must say that Making waves has sparked a love of swimming for my boys. The staff are amazing in creating a fun but yet structured environment. They motivate and challenge just the perfect way. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor with both the kids and the parents are truly appreciated. Love your school. Thank you
