We love our vet, but with a 140-lb dog on a lot of meds, petpharmacist has been a wallet-saver. Scripts are filled promptly and are roughly half to two-thirds of the price at the clinic. We always go to pick the meds up so can’t comment on delivery etc. But for us it’s well worth the trip.
I've gotten both prescription and non-prescription medications for my pets here. Their prices are considerably cheaper than the vet clinics and significantly cheaper than the pet stores as well for non-prescription items. Drive there and pick up for free and have it sent directly to you. Either way, absolutely the way to go especially if you need access to life long meds.
If I could rate zero stars I would. From the online add all the way to the order process. Was told when I ordered that it would be delivered Sept 9th. Then on September 10th I get a call from my local vet that they need to charge me 28 dollars for writing a prescription before the pet pharma which I already paid can process the order. So now I don't have the medication on time, and have ended up paying the same price I would have at my local vet. Total waste of my time and not an easy process. Do not use this service.
They Pharmacist is knowledgeable and very kind. I pick up insulin for my senior dog and they were able to provide so much info. The prices are also reasonable. Thank you for being awesome!
Sad to see this place care more about pets then the well beings of humans, they completely over charge for particular medicines when the pet medicine is 10x the cost of the same ones given to humans.
Waste of time ! Very unprofessional would not recommend . I setup my account picked my cats meds she needs sent a picture of my cats perception label that clearly shows the meds , refills , doctor's name , all veterinarians info and that wasn't good enough . Didn't offer to work with me at all like call my veterinarians office to confirm nothing just cancel order . I don't understand how this vet pharmacy is a business if you have to get your vet to deal with them to get your pets meds you would just deal with the veterinarian . A Pharmacy will call the doctor thats how Pharmacys work !
BEWARE: Expired Medicine! After looking at the prescription I noticed that it was manufactured by Pfizer AH... PFIZER AH sold to a stand alone company called ZOETIS 8+ YEARS AGO!!! This means to me one of 2 things. They are selling an expired product or it is black market medicine. Be VERY aware of what you are giving your pet. A little research goes a long way. For me personally, they have some explaining to do. I won't be shopping here and suggest you pay the extra money for more accurate results for your pet.
