They've given my laptop new life twice in the past 5 years or so, both repairing a charging issue and replacing a painfully slow hard drive. Both times they identified the issue quickly, repaired it effectively and quickly at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I moved far from their shop but I continue to bring my laptops to KV laptop for repair. Ken and Vivian are honest, efficient and fair. I have dealt with them for years for repairs and also purchasing reconditioned units. I would highly recommend them.
I recently took my home computer in to get repaired at this shop. The owner was very knowledgeable, he provided a very cost effective solution that required a small investment of hardware but had my computer running like new in no time, repair was also finished the same day. I'll defiantly be bringing my computers here for service and upgrades going forward!

This computer repair shop is downright hostile towards their customers. There's absolutely no transparency whatsoever and they have a tendency to make false claims in defense of their business. I brought a desktop to them for a repair. They fixed the problem, but I found that after the repair, I was unable to connect on one of my USB ports. Whether they had caused this problem or not was uncertain, but what I did know for sure was that I did not have this issue when I gave them the desktop. When I brought this up with them, they insisted that they were not responsible rather than being willing to inspect the desktop. They had guaranteed that their repairs would hold for 3 months. As a result, I left a negative review that I felt was fair. In response to this, they put up a post riddled with false claims. I have no idea where they came up with these claims. For example, I had not been to many computer stores and I was not told that no one could fix my computer. I went to exactly one computer store, which was K-V Laptops. I'm sure it makes them look better if they claim they made a repair that no one else could. The original manufacturer, ASUS, had already offered to fix the part for a similar price. The only reason I sent it in to them instead of my OEM is that shipping the board would take longer. I did not demand that they open up the desktop and explain to me every repair in detail. If labor is performed on a car, or any other expensive device, there should be a summary of work performed and an appropriate price for each repair. This is known as an invoice. They refused to tell me what was done except that they had "fixed the motherboard." This is equivalent to your dealership simply telling you that they "fixed the car." I have dealt with computer repair shops, both small and OEM many times and never have I encountered a case where the repair company refused to tell me what was done to the computer. They then proceeded to charge me slightly more than the original quote. Needless to say, being asked to take on faith that the repair was more complicated than initially promised is unprofessional and an unpleasant prospect. I did not mind the increase in price. The refusal to tell me what was broken about the motherboard was the problem. The port itself was not in fact physically damaged. The power to the port still works and phones and other devices can be charged through it. The problem is that USB drives do not function on it. I've attached a picture of a perfectly function USB port next to the one that is no longer working. Needless to say, they are physically identical.
I took my Macbook air in to get a keyboard replacement and they were amazing. They did a great job, very fast, friendly and a good price with no surprises. Will recommend to anyone who needs a laptop fix
