My daughter has grown up in this studio and absolutely LOVES The Dance Zone! She started in the recreational program, then moved to the part-time competitive team, and now she’s thriving in the full-time competitive program. She adores her teachers and her team—it’s truly her second home.

My girls did summer camp there and loved it. First day they cried at the drop off but the staff was so loving and caring they forgot all about me lol It was hard to pick them up daily they wanted to stay longer.
At one time I would have highly recommended this dance studio, but after almost a decade and a half of dedication and support, and believing this was one place that was a safe and compassionate environment to those who suffer from mental health issues, only to be taken back when you're told you are no longer a part of their dance family. And why! Because your child fell ill during the middle of a competition and couldn't compete. You're told, "you don't perform, you don't return to the studio!" Yet, when your child previously competed with injuries, fractures, muscle strains and minimal illnesses, and was still able to pull off high scores, awards, scholarships and judges awards for the studio, your child was considered gold to them. Then the one and only time your child says I am really too ill and can't physically get out of bed, all that was forgotten and meaningless. No thought was given or crossed their minds that it must be serious , especially if this student has danced and competed with these other ailments. I have reiterated this experience that we endured to other studio and competition directors , to say they were at lost for words or shocked is a complete understatement. Those that did provide feedback stated their dancers have gotten injured or sick and not once did they turn to their student and say "YOU DON'T PERFORM, YOU DON'T RETURN" ! The directors of these studios stated that their real main concern would be that their student(s) have a speedy recovery so they could be back with their dance family. I now regret and wish I had listened to other former dancers and parents that left this studio when they did. I guess I just didn't want to believe it after already a decade being there, and not experiencing first hand what they did, but I guess the studios true values and ethics was eventually going show through; and it did!! If I could give this studio -1 star, I would. Let this be a warning to parents considering this dance studio, if your child is a competitive dancer, make sure they NEVER, EVER get sick before or during a competition to the point they can't dance and compete and represent this studio, cause it won't matter how much you or your child does or have done for them, you will not get any empathy, compassion or understanding from them.
My daughter has been dancing at The Dance Zone for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. She enjoys the classes and loves her dance teachers. She has learned so much in only 2 years and always comes out of her classes with a smile on her face.
My daughter started 2 years ago in recreational, and is now part time competitive. The Dance Zone Company including teachers and staff, are always professional, approachable and inviting. My daughter looks forward to class every time. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
