My 9yr old daughter has been dancing at The Dance Zone since she was 4 years old and is on the full time competitive team. All of the faculty are fabulous and Debbie the owner has been very supportive of my daughter’s personal dance journey. The Dance Zone family is like our second family and we have always felt well cared for and respected by each and every one of the staff. Each student is recognized in their own special way and receive training tailored to their specific needs. Both their recreational and competitive programs are top notch! Highly recommend the Dance Zone!

We have been attending The Dance Zone for 7 years. My daughter started in the recreational program and has been in the full time competitive program for 5 years. The studio is a special place - an environment that provides excellent teaching in a caring, nurturing and supportive setting. My daughter has created life long friendships and memories. If she could spend every waking minute dancing at The Dance Zone she would. We are so grateful for all the fabulous teachers and look forward to many more years dancing with the best dance family!
Dance Zone is a second home to my girls. As a parent in the full-time competitive program, I feel confident, grateful and fully at ease knowing that my girls are in a loving and supportive environment each and every day. The teachers at the studio have been instrumental in helping my girls develop as strong, self-confident dancers and role models within the studio and dance community. At one time I would have highly recommended this dance studio, but after over a decade and a half of dedication and support, and believing this was one place that was a safe and compassionate environment to those who suffer from mental health issues, only to be taken back when you're told you are no longer a part of their dance family. And why! Because your child fell ill during the middle of a competition and couldn't compete. You're told, "you don't perform, you don't return to the studio!" Yet, when your child previously competed with injurues, fractures, muscle strains and minimal illnesses, and was still able to pull off high scores, awards, scholarship and judges awards for the studio, your child was considered gold to them. Then the one and only time your child says I am really too ill and can't physically get out of bed, all that was forgotten and meaningless. No thought was given or crossed their minds that it must be serious , especially if this student has danced and competed with these other ailments. I have reiterated this experience that we endured to other studio and competition directors , to say they were at lost for words or shocked is a complete understatement. Those that did provide feedback stated their dancers have gotten injured or sick and not once did they turn to their student and say "YOU DON'T PERFORM, YOU DON'T RETURN" ! The directors of these studios stated that their real main concern would be that their student(s) have a speedy recovery so they could be back with their dance family. I now regret and wish I had listened to other former dancers and parents that left this studio when they did. I guess I just didn't want to believe it after already a decade being there, amd not experiencing first hand what thet did, but I guess their true values and ethics was eventually going show through. If I could give a -1 star I would. Let this be a warning to parents considering this dance studio, if your child is a competitive dancer, make sure they NEVER, EVER get sick before or during a competition to the point they can't dance and compete and represent this studio, cause it won't matter how much you or your child does or have done for them, you will not get any empathy, compassion or understanding from them.
