I have to say something today. My colleague Saleem has been getting massages at this shop for a while, and he told me that the massage therapist there named May was good and relieved his muscle pain. Later, I also went to May for massages. The first time was okay, so I went back for massages with May every time after that. But the next few times, I felt very uncomfortable. Her approach was different from the first time. She didn't use as much pressure as before, not at all, and she didn't do it according to my requests. She seemed unapproachable, impatient, and even deliberately hurt me. I found it strange that her massages were getting worse and worse, each time more outrageous than the last. Once, I said to her, "You're hurting me." She said, "You can go to another massage therapist. This is the only way I can do it." I expressed my displeasure, and our communication became difficult. Her English is also very poor, but I could sense that she wanted to push me to another massage therapist. I felt very strange and couldn't understand it. I talked to my colleague Saleem about it, and he said it was impossible. He said that May had always done a good massage for him, with a good attitude, and always did it according to his requests and the pressure applied. It was because of Saleem's words that I insisted on having May massage me several times, but she didn't want to help me at all. She even deliberately grabbed and pressed randomly, intentionally hurting me, showing that she disliked me and was even annoyed with me. I had no idea why. That day, Saleem told me, "I've talked to the other massage therapists, and I know why May is treating you like this. Have you never tipped her?" I said I had never tipped her. Saleem said that he always tipped May, so May massaged him very well. Since I didn't tip her, she deliberately hurt me, hoping I would find another massage therapist. She probably uses this trick on every customer. If this continues, those customers who tip will go to her for massages, while those who don't tip will go to other massage therapists or stop going to this shop altogether. After Saleem told me all this, I was stunned! Is this how a massage therapist should act? So scheming, so vicious and insidious, willing to hurt me to get rid of me just for her little tip. Just for a small tip, she hurt me, wasted my money and time, and drove away other customers from the clinic. It's unbelievable, yet it actually happened to me! It's infuriating and intolerable! Of course, by doing this, she'll gradually attract more tipping customers, and she'll earn a lot in tips. But what she's doing is unfair to the other hardworking RMTs in the clinic! And if she continues like this, the clinic will only have fewer and fewer customers. I don't know how the boss can allow such an RMT to stay. I think most customers don't tip, and what she's doing is essentially driving them away. And if the clinic's customers decrease significantly because of her behavior, fewer and fewer people will eventually come to her for massages, and ultimately, both the clinic and she will become victims of her terrible behavior. I think about how she wasted my time and money, and my physical pain didn't improve at all. I'm really furious! I believe this kind of behavior shouldn't exist in any profession, especially in a profession that relieves customers' pain! It should never exist!
Ive been coming here for my massages for the last 5 years and they are wonderful. just what i need after weeks of competition training. the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. i always look forward to my next treatement with them.
I’m so grateful I found out about this place!!! Every time I’ve gone, it’s been the best experience - better than any other massage places that I’ve been to. From the lovely receptionist as soon as you walk in, to the above-and-beyond masseuses, I am blown out of the water whenever I step foot inside their wonderful space. Amy and Wendy have been huge helps in relieving so much pain in my body, and teaching me about it as well, and our beautiful conversations just fill my heart. I can always trust to feel at peace during my appointments here. I just wish I lived even closer ? Thank you Alfa Wellness for your caring services always! :) x
Went on several occasions and initially found a massage therapist whose technique I particularly enjoyed. However, after my third visit, I encountered difficulties trying to specifically request that therapist. The reception consistently provided resistance and attempted to assign me to a different practitioner. It appeared that this reluctance might be linked to the fact that I never tipped. Following each massage, there was an expectation for a gratuity, a practice I found uncommon and chose not to participate in. In addition to the personnel challenges, I noted that the facility's cleanliness was borderline acceptable. On one occasion, during a hot and humid day, I experienced discomfort as the air conditioning was not functioning. This combination of factors left me somewhat dissatisfied with the overall experience.
Today, I had a massage appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM, and I arrived at 1:45 PM. However, the masseur assigned to me was delayed by 6 minutes before starting the session. Midway through, unexpectedly, they mentioned needing to step out for about 5 minutes, and another masseur replaced them during that time. This caused a loss of approximately 10 minutes in total. I found this experience unacceptable. Despite sharing my concerns with the reception, they didn't address or acknowledge my feedback. This was my third visit, and it left me quite disappointed.
I had a fantastic experience at Alfa Spa & Wellness! The staff was incredibly friendly, the facility was clean, and the massage and reflexology services were excellent. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend!
I was their client for few years and previously gave them a 5 star review. Generally I had a good experience but I realized they don't care about their clients. My back has been hurt in the last massage therapy. When I explained them the pain and issues which appeared a day after the therapy they proposed me another session with the same therapist but they told me I have to pay for it. The cost is not an issue at all but I expected a better attitude showing that they care about their clients since my back been hurt by their therapist.
