Manager and staff are arrogant and pompous. First golftown I’ve been to that doesn’t price match their online price. They do have a good selection but I won’t come back to due to the horrible staff. Try being more respectful to your customers and they will spend money. Maybe this location only caters to the rich folks. The Britannia location is much more inviting.
I came into Golf town yesterday and met with Lex and Mitch. They definitely helped me out. They gave me amazing service showing me many clubs and testing them as well as recommending the right fit for me. I was very impressed with the customer service and I’m very satisfied and I will be returning as a value customer for years to come.
I believe it was Chris who helped me shorten my golf driver last Sunday. I’m really happy with the result and very satisfied with the service. He did a fantastic job! He was very nice and made the whole process easy. Even though I didn’t catch his name for sure, I truly appreciate the great attitude and professionalism. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Staff are friendly and helpful, however it's a bit hard to find someone to unlock the display just so you can pick a club up and see how it feels in your hands. They dont hesitate to tape up a club for you to test out, which is nice.
I've been coming to this particular store for 20 years or so and while never having had a bad experience, I've never had such a good experience that it was worth writing a review about. I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with MICHAEL S (I will leave his last name out for privacy reasons) Michael was, without a doubt, the most helpful person I've ever dealt with at any Golf town... ever. I just want to point out that before he checked anything for me, I told him that I wouldn't be buying anything that day and he still did it with a smile on his face and thanked me for coming in when we were done. Not only did he know his stuff, but I asked him to check quite a few things in the back for me and he gladly did so, whereas, from my previous experience) most people would get annoyed. Michael is definitely the type of guy that all locations want working for them. If I was a manager, I would give this guy a raise or promotion just to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. Losing Michael as an employee would be a big hit to any company. It was such a good experience that after I left I called my wife to tell her about how good of an experience I had. I even called a two of my friends to ask if they have ever dealt with him before. One of them had dealt with him before and said he was fantastic. I was truly surprised and extremely happy at the level of service. This was the kind of experience that would make me come back to this location over others. He is, by far, the best employee I have ever dealt with at any Golf town. You're lucky to have him.
It's always a blast when you go to Golf town. Like a kid in a candy factory. The staff are very knowledgeable and will spend time helping you. The onsite simulators let you try the club out before buying to see if it feels right for you. The staff work with you as well to give you pointers and advice. Golf town has a wide variety of anything golf related that you are looking for.
