The food was amazing. I had an incredible steak. We were served by an amazing waitor by the name of bardia, who came and checked on us multiple times and was an incredible host. Definitly planning on returning.
Sharon, was amazing, I was at the self checkout, and wanted to pay cash. (After another employee told me all cash lanes were closed) Sharon went out of her way to open a till and cash me out with my preferred method of payment. Thank you Sharon :)
FRESCO....I must say is very clean, well organized and usually well stocked with Fresh veggies and frozen foods and great products. The staff appear to be helpful and courteous. I'm NOT A FAN of those job sucking self checkout machines and believe they should be taken out of every single store they are in. I will never use them. Why should I work for Freshco, or any other company for free. It's just big corporate's way to cut jobs of hard working youth, to save the almighty buck. By having us working citizens do the work that could be done by a young person looking for work, just out of school. It's a scam so they don't have to pay wages and benefits to the employees. If they want us to use these atrocities give us a 20% discount for checking in and bagging our own groceries. On another more positive note, this store is huge and there is adequate parking available for the most part. I like the color scheme and the aprons the staff wear as well. Thank you.
My favorite supermarket, the staff are bunch of cool and groffy people, nice. New update, I lower the rating from 5 to 4. The main reason is that the employee are not giving us the happy vibe anymore. I noticed there is a new Asian manager there, feels like he is a stern and straight person. I don't see there's any substantial improvement in managing, and it is kind of becoming a sad place. I don't agree with that big bearded Asian manager's managing style, and I do have a business degree and years of management experience. I really hope there will be some changes in the management style. There should be more respect and freedom given to the employees, instead of constantly controlling and questioning the employees. Since the change of the shopping experience, I might choose to go more to No-Frills than coming to Fresh-co. This is so sad, I was enjoying shopping at this happy place. Now, I can only see fear and stress from the staff, and the arrogant demeanor from that Asian manager's face, which I really do not appreciate. If this doesn't change, I will further lower the rating for this place.
The shop looks nice at the beginning, but now a lot of expired food on the shelf, pricing are raised up drastically, when I've asked to approach Shain the manager to flage it up, he doesn't seems to be care at all, several months ago this store was really great, but now is very uncontrollably.
I been this location FreshCo customer since the opening day. And I love the European and kosher sections in this store. Prices in general are very good and quite a bit of sales. But a quality of the fruits and vegetables in the last few months became a big issue. I totally agree with one review in which the costumer call this store name dangerously ironic. There are a lot of rotten produce on the shelves.. My wife is saying that basically half goes to the garbage bin, even though I am trying to be selective. But sometimes it is very hard to see it, especially if it comes in the boxes. The stuff young guys are always around, but seems to me they just don't put attention or don't want to. That is very unfortunate and I decided to look for the different options like Walmart for example.
there is a promo for home hardware gift card, but manager only allows customer buy $500 each day, he said this store do that for two or three years, what you can buy $500 in 2024? Lol
