I took my phone to FixService Shop for a minor issue, but they damaged a part that worked perfectly before. The technician was unprofessional and aggressive, and I ended up paying just to avoid confrontation. The "repair" made things worse, and I had to buy a new phone. Very disappointing experience — I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Battery change initially caused the proximity sensor to stop working. They, and I of course, both should have checked before I left the store - however they were able to fix it when I returned the next week.
Had a bad situation, phone fell face down and broke the LED screen. It was a bussiness phone so no way I could have it on hold for a day or two. Contacted FixService and asked them to fix it urgently. And WOW! I don't know how they got the original screen and rpelaced it within 2hrs. These guys are like Superman in phone fixing industry. Thank you guys for making the impossible possible!
My Moto G stylus had a damaged screen. I called them up and they told me they already had a replacement and could fix it quickly and for super cheap too. Customer service was also amazing and they seem to have great care for their work. Super professional and would highly recommend.
Way friendlier customer service even compared to Apple store. Beats apple store on cost, time, and knowledgable friendly staff. Called in the morning to get an estimate for MacBook Air m1 screen replacement. I was impressed since they were the only store than even bothered to ask for my macbook's serial number to give me an accurate quote. I more or less made my decision to give my business on the phone based on the friendliness and level of attention to detail conveyed to me over the call. I was impressed once again in store when I decided to bring my laptop in. The shop was the only store that offered to take a look to see if the only damaged part of the computer at the hinge could be replaced at 1/5 the cost of replacing the entire screen outright. Apple store and many other stores did not bother to check at all based on set procedure. I ended up having to replace the entire screen but this is understandable considering how apple products nowadays are all glued and cemented on together. Nevertheless it was impressive how Fixpoint took a 10% chance of success to see if just the hinge could be replaced at 1/5 the cost. I was quoted by Fixpoint 3 days turnaround time and was ready for pick up less than a day later. My fixed MacBook Air m1 looks brand new. I also replaced the screen and battery of my iPhone X. Same great experience as my MacBook Air m1 ticket. Highly recommend!
Absolutely terrible service. I paid to have my phone battery changed and it got significantly worse after the replacement. I came back to have it changed he said there was none in stock and to come back same time tomorrow. I come back the next day and they are closed 2 hours before the posted hours. I will be requesting a full refund. Don't waste your time. Update: they refused to give me any kind of refund. Complete scam.
I wouldn't bother coming here at all. I stopped in as I was having issues with my cellphone, the technician promised to call me with a quote by the end of the business day. So I left my phone with them. No call by end of the day. I reached out to them towards the end of the second business day and the manager said he would check with the technician and return my call. A total of 5 business days later, I got fed up and returned to the shop. Another technician was there that day. He showed me the alleged issue, which turned out to not be the issue at all (I had it checked out at another place and it was something more major)! They didn't bother looking into my phone any further once they found 1 supposed issue that they cannot make money off (unable to find a replacement battery). Also they took my phone case off my phone and the technician had to hunt for it as it was returned to me with the case missing. If a client leaves something with you, you return it in it's entirety. I do not appreciate the unresponsiveness of this business, nor the attitude of Mr Akan (manager) both in person and on the phone. You wonder why I was hesitant to leave my phone Mr Akan on day 1? Well it is because of the lack of professionalism and casual remarks you made and promises not delivered. Clearly my instincts were correct from day 1.
