Hosted a private event for a 24 person group. Food and service were excellent. The wine cellar had a great selection and Temo and Julian made our dinner even better.
Nice place. I've been there before. My first experience was much better than this recent one. The decor is nice. The service is good except that they were way too busy and I don't feel that they spent enough time at our table. The only problem with the food was that I'd ordered lamb and they gave me four Small lamb chops.... And I mean small. Considering what the cost of the land chops was, I would have expected larger pieces. The ones I received appeared more like an appetizer than an actual meal. They were prepared well and they were tasty. There was another complaint from another member of our party who was surprised to see a 20% tip automatically added on with six people. First of all, I could understand if it's maybe eight people, but if their policy is to use six people, that's fine. I have seen 18%, but where on Earth do they come up with 20%? We found that to be A bit of a cash grab considering that we dropped around $1,500 that night.
had the steak dinner way over priced paid $68 for a steak dinner the steak was full of grizzle and 1 ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes few veggies cheap bottle of wine for 50$
From being greeted to the end of the meal the staff, service and food was outstanding!!! Our waitress was patient and was more than willing to help us with the menu and options. The food was very well done and presented. A gem that is more than well worth the visit! Thanks to all the staff!!!!
A Truly Wonderful Spot — With One Slightly Sour Note I've dined at Nascosto several times now, and every experience has been wonderful. I’ve brought new friends with me each time to introduce them to the food, ambiance, and excellent service. The team at Nascosto always delivers — the space is beautiful, the staff is warm and attentive, and the food is consistently outstanding. Most recently, I hosted a dinner for a group of 10. We spent over $1,000, and I had left a $100 deposit when making the large-party reservation. Everything went smoothly until the end, when my bill came to $101.08 (after including a 20% tip). The server asked me for the remaining $1.08 — a tiny amount, but it felt surprisingly tacky and tasteless considering the circumstances. It’s a small detail, yes — but it left a bad taste in my mouth after what was otherwise a flawless evening. That said, I still consider Nascosto one of my favorite restaurants in the area and will continue to recommend it. I just hope management considers how those small interactions can shape a guest’s lasting impression.
Well, the service and tha atmosphere of the restaurant are amazing, however the food is not unfortunately, beside the bread the served as entree (that was delicious). We ordered a fried seafood and a milaneise vitelo, both very oily, it looks like the put straight from the pan to the plate. We also had a funghi parpadelle, which was tasteless and needed salt (I always go to the funghi at Italian restaurants, unfortunately this one was the worse I had lately). The americano coffee looked like they warmed up in the microwave, didn’t taste fresh. I’m so sorry to write this review because the waitress was so nice and friendly, but I think the quality of the food was poor and didn’t match the restaurant we paid for.
Nascosto is truly a hidden gem! My girls and I celebrated my birthday and my friend’s birthday there tonight, and what a delight it was. This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The food was nothing short of exceptional—every dish, from the appetizers to the mains to the desserts, was beautifully presented and tasted as amazing as it looked. The service was just as impressive. Our waiter, Julian, was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and always on cue. The manager, Temo, went above and beyond to make our evening special, even introducing us to Chef Luca, which was such a memorable moment. We will definitely be back, not only to celebrate future occasions but also to explore more of the menu. Thank you, Nascosto, for an unforgettable dining experience! You’ve set the standard for excellence.
