I ordered chicken Shawarma Saj from them, the chicken wasn’t even cooked. I couldn’t even finish the first bite. I had to throw it in the garbage. The service was OK, but the food tastes so bad, and the chicken had chicken skin mixed with it. Very disappointed.
Ordered a chicken platter and shawarma wraps for about $75 and was very disappointed. No hot sauce was provided, and only two tiny containers of garlic sauce for 4-5 people. It lacked flavour as all you can taste was grease. Extremely disappointing. Spent $75 on a chicken platter and wraps, and what we received looked nothing like the photos they advertise. Their pictures clearly show peppers and meat on top of the platter — none of that was given, hence false advertising for social media. No hot sauce, barely any garlic sauce, and the wraps were so greasy they were literally dripping as soon as you lift them. The fries were also greasy and overcooked. When I raised my concerns, the owner became defensive and denied everything instead of taking responsibility. For the price, this was unacceptable. There are plenty of better shawarma spots nearby that actually serve quality food and treat customers with respect. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place.
We ordered 2 family sized platters to accomodate a 30 person party. The staff were happy to accomodate and help us modify our order to add extra sandwiches into the platter. All the food was hot and fresh and wiped off the plates. Would definitely order again.
Stopped by here today and the customer service and food is outstanding. I've never tried Iraqi bread and the kind man behind the counter said he would make it fresh for us. When the food came out, my family and I were amazed at how fresh and delicious everything tasted. It's actually unlike any other Shawarma we have ever tried and we have tried a lot of places. Everything we ordered was melt in the mouth delicious. We especially loved the Rocket with Sujuk, never tried this before and it was incredible, the way the meat was seasoned and spiced and the cheese was melted to perfection. The young lady behind the counter was the sweetest, she gave my daughter a little mini pizza with a happy face on it. It's these little touches, the kindness of the people who work here, and the fresh and delicious food that will have us driving back here again from Whitby to eat.
When I tell you this is the best shawarma I’ve had in Ontario, I mean it! I’ve been searching for shawarma that tastes like the ones in the UAE, but I could never find one—until now. We were in the area, saw the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! It’s a bit far from our place, but we’ll definitely be coming back for more!
It was a very bad experience. I traveled 29 km to go to the restaurant. I ordered a shawarma pizza and a falafel bowl. The cashier told me the pizza would take 30 minutes, and the guy in the kitchen said 15-20 minutes. We were fine with that. I placed the order at 4:24 pm, and around 5:10 pm, we finally got our pizza for dine-in. We thought the falafel bowl would come next, so we waited another 5 minutes. After almost 50 minutes, we asked how much longer it would take. It turned out they lost our order receipt. After showing them our receipt, they started making the order. We asked for the falafel with rice and salad, but they gave us fries instead, which was another mistake. In the end, they packed it to go while we were dining in. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I will not come again. Added : another big mistake visited again June 6 2025 ordered falafel bowl this time no rice in the bowl if I wanted to order just falafel I could order falafel for $6-7
