The staff here were considerate, patient, and humorous. The atmosphere is laid back, and overall enjoyable. However, I found that the food took a bit longer than expected. That said, it was really good. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience!☺️
A group of 4 went to Trio to try their Vaughan Flavours dinner for $45. Our experience was average. There could have been better communication between the server and our group. We waited a long time for the entrees. The salad and dressing were bland. The risotto and linguine were very tasty. The berry tart was delicious. The lava cake did not have a runny core which was disappointing. We liked the roominess and decor of the restaurant. Unfortunately I don't think that we will return.
We discovered this restaurant because it was close to work. Patio season is now opened, and we really enjoy watching the sunset outside :) Service is friendly and courteous, and always checking in on us to make sure we have everything we need. Some food recommendations: Trio Starter Platter - choose from 3 of 5 items, the coconut shrimp was lovely! Charcuterie Board - really enjoyed the variety of cuts and cheeses - the dijon mustard and mixed berry jam were a very nice touch!
I came here by myself at the bar for a quick beer and meal. They seemed to be hosting a large group so staff were scrambling a bit. My waiter disappeared after serving me my beer. I asked another waiter to order food as there was no dedicated bar tender, as far as I could tell. I also asked to have the meal to go as the energy in there was a bit frantic. My original waiter re-appeared and I settled my bill, and got my take-out shortly after. A $23 + tax ceasar salad with chicken. This thing is tiny and came an in over-sized single-use paper bag. Ok. I head to my room and on my way out I get yelled at by a waitress "excuse me, did you cash out?". I turn around, and nod that I did. My original waiter explains to her that I settled. All in all, I didn't appreciate the service, the food, or the waitress making a scene in front of a busy restaurant, basically implying I'm stealing. She could have looked at her system she was facing instead of yelling to me across the restaurant. Will not come back here.
Had a late dinner while staying at Novotel after a late flight; Greek salad with added salmon, glass of wine. Restaurant was almost empty, service was fast and courteous, food was excellent despite being simple. Will return to hotel and most likely to the restaurant as well.
I was a bit skeptical dining here but boy was I wrong. Service is phenomenal and food was excellent. We ordered the calamari, soup, meatball sandwich, burger and bruschetta. Would definitely go here again. It appears that no one dines here, but this is definitely a hidden gem!
We hard our anniversary dinner here 1 year after our wedding reception at same place. They came through with good food & topnotch services as always. I think I'll visit here more often.
