We tried Uptown BBQ-Churrasqueira for the first time while deciding where to order Portuguese chicken for our daughter’s 3rd birthday — and it completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered a chicken dinner with rice and potatoes as a “test run,” and the food was so good that we immediately chose them for the event. On the day of the party, everyone kept talking about how delicious the food was and asked where it came from. The biggest compliment I can give is that our toddler, who can be a picky eater, finished her plate and even asked for more! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is consistently excellent, and the portions are great. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I hope you read this and give them a visit. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and amazing service. One of my favourite Portuguese places. I would give 5 stars based on the experience I’ve had from in person takeout. However, we ordered the large family meal on Doordash with 2 chickens, large potatoes and large rice but when we got our order we got 1/2 take out container of rice and 1 1/2 containers of potatoes. We ordered for our family and had guests and had to ration the rice out amongst 6 people. Was disappointed with this since they charge quite a bit for the meal and didn’t give us what we ordered. I’ll still go back since their food is top notch but would stick to the 1/2 chicken with two sides
I love uptown bbq! Everyone is so easy going and very generous with the portions. The peri peri sauce is like no other! The potato salad is my favourite thing on the planet. Totally recommend it, also is so good for catering big parties food is always so fresh and delicious
Love this place! Great food, large portions and the sauce is delicious. Very clean atmosphere and outstanding customer service. I love dining in there, taking out or even catering for the whole family. Highly recommend.
My favourite spot!! The best chicken hands down and they make this unreal chickpea salad! Can’t get enough. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel at home. Would highly recommend!!
One of the best Portuguese chicken shops I’ve ever been to. Always friendly service , great tasting food and an overall good vibe. I would 100% recommend this place. We keep going back because it’s so good
I have ordered from here multiple times both in person and on uber eats and have always been impressed. The portions are huge, prices are cheap and the service is great! The hot sauce is a must, and the balsamic dressing is phenomenal!
