Every time I got my truck serviced there - ALWAYS A PROBLEM! All 5 years my truck was on warranty I was supposed to go dealership and EVERY TIME with no exception it was a problem! Once they was doing back cover sealing on my volvo engine and forgot in the engine piece of rug!!! After some time that rug sucked into oil pump and I was supposed to change the oil pump!!! Every my visit they screwed! I can't describe every situation here, but one I will: I have a deep feeling those mechanics got hands growing from the butts. 2 month before warranty ends they changed injectors on my truck by warranty, I started experiencing problems right away with engine overheating and dash showing fuel consumption 4 liters less per 100km than it was before and confirmed at the fuel pumps wich shows the injectors are bad from the box!!! They told me its ok, nothing wrong with it and if you want to change the injectors again you have to pay full price for it! Recently my engine is dead on 850k because of faulty injectors was giving too much fuel and I was supposed to buy a new engine now!!!! IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT I HONESTLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GOING THAT WORKSHOP!!!!!!
Was having a break problem going down the 404 on ramp when a white truck of theirs almost collided with my rear. I had my four ways on! Honking at me as I was trying to be safe on high speed roads. Calm down and relax! If you're in that much of a rush plan your day better!
I brought my 2014 Volvo in for service and spoke to the service Adviser Alberto Arieni who is very professional and knowledgeable he was able to complete repairs before promised date and we are very grateful for the Team at Mid Ontario Mack in Maple. Drivers beware! I made the mistake recently and took my truck in for repairs and these people are rip-off artists! Quoted me thousands of dollars for all kinds of repairs amd services and I told them not to touch a thing! Things I was sure about as I am meticulous with my truck and have a mechanical background. Anyways, I picked it up and took it to a couple other reputable shops which were recommended by friends and the parts that they told me were the problem were just fine! Both other mechanics isolated the true problem and offered me similar quotes. Got my truck repaired elsewhere and saved thousands, not falling into their trap. Not all of us drivers are stupid and naive Mid Ontario Maple!
I call him regarding parts and they told me that you can bring parts till 2 am but when i reached 11:33 pm at that time their building 's doors were closed.
I called at 5 minutes before they closed on a Friday needing a radiator hose because mine blew out. Eric went above and beyond for bringing the parts I needed out to me on the side of the highway rather than putting the truck on the hook. A1 service ?Many thanks!! Rob
This was by far the worst service received.. We currently don’t trust the status and integrity of our motor that we depend on day to day, and we were promised a “gold” package which we did not receive and was performed in under 45 minutes. This truck will be going elsewhere to receive the service once again and until then, this truck shall be warrantied for its sub-par mandatory service as it has been flawless until now. Upon arrival, we were prompted to wait outside for 30 minutes until we could provide payment, to then further experiencing the truck not being able to start. We were trying to reach out for help to only be avoided by the service staff until one tech came out to help. The technician continued to make us try and start the truck (which failed) and once started, he revved up the motor to its max capacity on a COLD START to let the “air” out. The motor was not washed - fuel, grease and oil spilled everywhere. To make matters worse, it took away 2 hours of our morning away from the job site after it was left for 12 hours at the dealership to perform a “2 hour” service. This was all apparently caused by a fuel filter not being properly mounted.. why? Possibly because the rushed the expensive service and perhaps why it only took 43 minutes according to my GPS.
