The best mechanic I've ever worked with. He is incredibly knowledgeable and will treat your car like its his own. I had him replace the turbo on my Mk7 Golf R and the throughout the entire process I was constantly updated and informed on what was being done. No issues after the install. He set up the alignment after I installed coilovers and the car drives amazing now. Thanks Dave!
David's attention to detail and communication are fantastic; he could teach a course in how customer service should be done. He documented and photo'd every step of a suspension kit install with ample notes to fully understand every setting and component. He was highly recommended by numerous friends and I can see why.
I found out about Workshop D through some mutual contacts that we share on social media. David was extremely knowledgeable, and Drew on his past racing experience to help me find a suitable setup for my car and the very specific mods that I had done to it he spent a very good amount of time completely dialing in the car, from rake to ride height to alignment and then recheck after a test drive. David's depth of knowledge in the racing field and how to dynamically set up a car for the race track, specific mods, intended use and to the driver's needs was exemplary. It was a lot of fun chatting with him and spitballing more ideas about future projects. I can't wait to try the setup that we came up with at mostport and see how much faster I can go beyond my current personal best. Thank you for the amazing service David. David did an excellent job doing a full corner balance & alignment on my M3 to prepare it for an HPDE event. The car felt like it was on rails at the track, David’s experience as a race team mechanic truly shows through. Also a great shop for pre-track day inspections (as required by BMW CCA or PCA). Highly recommend Workshop D for performance work or routine maintenance!
Took my 2022 Subaru WRX to Workshop D for the 60,000 km Service C and could not be happier. Dave and Nick are true pros, knowledgeable, transparent and easy to talk to. They walked me through everything, showed me the parts they swapped out and even sent photos while the work was happening. They followed the Subaru 60k checklist and were great about discussing fluid options like Motul and explaining why they recommend them. The work was top notch and I even got to chat cars and music with them while I waited. It is rare to find a shop with this mix of skill, honesty and friendliness. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert Subaru care.
I recently had an oil leak issue. Dave explained in detail what the possible sources of the issue could be after I explained what I had observed. After we scheduled an appointment and he had a closer look, he pinpointed the exact problem and was able to correct it. He was very flexible and accommodating with my schedule.
