I absolutely love this store! It’s in a great location, the parking lot is spacious, and the overall atmosphere is always amazing. The staff is wonderful, and I want to highlight one employee in particular — Jo Ann. She is truly the best of the best. I honestly enjoy coming to this store because of the outstanding service she provides. I adore her and her positive attitude. All I can say is that she clearly loves her job!
I had a bad experience with this store . The customer service is terrible, the lady who is a cashier and sales representative with short blond hair is a terrible, first of all she is super unfriendly like she doesn’t like to help and assist customers, but she is super rude I would say she is sort of providing discrimination towards me , not the first time I deal with her . The funny part I just pick up my orders that I paid online but she doesn’t want to give me my orders back , I felt so discriminated there . Please I ask management of the thornhill carters store to pay attention to your staff, I point on that blond lady in her maybe 46-50 years old with short hairstyle, her name starts with M ; please train her and teach her that she can’t disrespect and discriminate customers because she doesn’t have any rights to do so . I recently had a frustrating experience with Sales associate Diane at this store. I approached her for help, but it felt like I was a complete inconvenience. Instead of assisting me, she was focused on her own calculations and seemed completely uninterested in helping me. When I tried to get her attention, she barely acknowledged me and made no effort to provide any support. It was clear her priority wasn’t the customer in front of her, but whatever personal task she was doing. Very disappointing and unprofessional – not what I’d expect from customer service. I waited, hoping she’d pause and offer some support, but she barely acknowledged me and seemed annoyed by my presence. Disappointing and unprofessional customer service—definitely not what I expected in a store catering to parents and families.
Will never visit this location again. As soon as my husband and I walked in with our small 5 lb well behaved dog, the first thing that was said to us by a very rude representative was “this isn’t really a dog store, are you going to pick it up or what?!” This lady had zero manners or customer service skills. If it was said in a polite manner, it would have been well received. We had visited the Burlington location the day before and our dog was welcome there. When we told her that, she said “oh really, which one?!” As though she doesn’t believe us. We asked if she wanted to see the receipt and she said no. That lady is a joke. We left the store as such an establishment does not deserve our business. Avoid this store!
Very friendly interaction today with Jo Ann. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the product and even made my son crack a smile. She seemed like she actually enjoys her job, which is refreshing to see in retail nowadays.
This store is a joke. Got here at 4:40 to make an exchange. The manager tired to convince us to keep the product we wanted to exchange. Why don't you just raise my child? As someone in retail, the part that annoyed me was that she kept telling everyone the store is about to close. Literally, every single person who entered the store within the last 20 minutes. She even said "oh we made it to 5" even though it was only 4:52. People complain about businesses suffering. This woman had 4-5 customers in the store whom she drove out. Keep up the good work.
My second time visiting this store Horrible customer service I have had multiple encounters with few sales reps including Gabriela and Tatiana And each time the service and attitude is worst Please take your business elsewhere because it’s not appreciated here
