I recently bought an ATC-FM exhaust fan from this store for $35 plus tax, and later found out the same item costs only $30 plus tax at AAR Plumber’s Plumbing Store in Brampton. When I called to ask about the price difference, I spoke with Abdullah, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of listening or offering any kind of help, he bluntly said “everything is final sale” and refused to accommodate me in any way. That’s not how you treat a customer who just spent money at your business. I’m very frustrated with their attitude and lack of basic customer service. I definitely won’t be shopping here again, and I suggest others compare prices before buying from this store.
Promotions on facebook marketplace with misleading prices. Owner is rude and mouthy and will not work with you. No returns either and hasslesome exchanges. Run and take your business elsewhere.
I would like to start off by saying that its very rare that I will leave a review unless I have a very awful experience or an amazing good one. Unfortunately for me, this was the most horrible customer service and experience I have ever received. My sister and I were looking for a bathroom vanity sink and found this company selling on Facebook Marketplace. We found a sink we really liked and reached out to Abdullah and asked if the item was available. Keep in mind, the price on Facebook was listed for $240. I know that price depends on size so I was very specific in what I wanted so after I asked him if it was $240 he responded to me saying that the price was increased by $5 for no reason, which was very confusing because he had never changed the pricing in his ad or explained why the price increased. I asked him why and he couldn’t even answer. So at this point I was furious because why would you be selling something thats false advertising? He then agreed to stay at $240 and sent me the address so I can come pick it up. I told him that we are lived far so I wanted to make sure that he knew so he would be prepared. So then, my sister and I drove out 45minutes to check it out and when we arrived Abdullah was not there but one of his employees that helped us, started giving us different pricing ($255 now) for the SAME vanity that we wanted. I was already feeling uneasy about the poor customer service and lack in advertising because how come a company would be advertising on facebook marketplace a whole different price then in store for the same product. Is this there way to get more people to walk through the doors? Seems like a scam to me. We then asked the employee to call Abdullah (which by the way is supposedly the manager) because at this point it was a huge miscommunication. Everyone then agreed to $240 for this vanity sink until Abdullah was on the phone telling us that its $240 +HST (13%). So now Im FUMING, because genuinely, my sister, and I assumed that this was a private seller, and not a store/business. So here we are sitting with $240 cash thinking thats the price we all agreed on. you would think that on Facebook marketplace it’s private sellers who don’t charge tax. so then, my sister and I took the phone and started talking to Abdullah expressing to him how upset we were because he wasn’t clear on the messages and that he should’ve specified that we would have to pay tax on top. Which, by the way paying the tax was not the problem. It’s the poor lack of communication and jacking the prices up for no reason!!!! in the end, he ended up hanging up on our faces while we were talking, which I find super disrespectful as a business owner or even someone working for the business. I do want to acknowledge that the employee helping us was very kind and generous, and he was not the problem, However, the CEO of this business or whoever is running it needs to do better. Like I said, I don’t normally leave reviews unless it is really bothered me or it’s just super unprofessional. Please save yourself the time and energy and dont come here. Spend your dollar elsewhere.
Buyers beware! Look somewhere else for vanities. Poor business practices. Scammers big time . Going to contact better business bureau because of this bad place. First off they falsely advertise their products on Facebook marketplace. They advertise $240 for 24 inch vanities but say “not in stock” and bump you to $255 plus tax one. Which they failed to show what the difference was. I still got a 30 inch vanity from them as it’s close to my home and I paid $320 after tax. Unfortunately when it got to the home I realized, I had to get the 24 inch after all as the stone is a little larger. I did not even unwrap the vanity I left it the way it was given to me. When I called in advance to ask if they were open and had 24 inch vanities in stock , he said “yes please come by!!” Then when I said “okay perfect because I’m coming in to exchange the 30 inch for a 24 inch” , RIGHT AWAY he said “oh sorry come tomorrow it’s not in stock” .. meanwhile seconds earlier, all was good to come in and buy one … literally SECONDS. When I arrived he tried to give me the run around , and all of a sudden they had “arrived” even though I was only 6 minutes away from when I called (another lie) The receipt fully states 3 day policy for exchanges. He refused to give me any money back for the difference , which I even understood ! However the least he could do was give me a store credit of $31.85 (the difference)… he refused this amount and said $17 store credit only. Which I ended up getting some drill bits , and had to pay $3 lol this is so petty on their end. I was tired of arguing , paid and left. This is rubbish behaviours and extremely unprofessional. Little does this “company” know that all the people I sub work to will no longer be using them, and any future contracts. All the contacts I’ve arranged to pick things up for me will no longer be going there. STAY AWAY
