Joseph and Antonella are truly amazing! Joseph was a lifesaver with my diabetic cat, offering some fantastic recommendations. Antonella also helped me out a lot with my kitten’s food. I called ahead to confirm that the self-pet wash station was available, and they told me that if I arrived within 30 minutes, I could use it. I brought my 3-year-old King Shepherd, who is a large dog, and was given only two towels. When I politely asked for more, I was told they could only provide two. The employee then called the manager, who “approved” giving me one more towel—like it was some huge favor. I explained to her that I’ve been coming to Pet Valu’s pet wash station for three years and this has never been an issue. Instead of being helpful, she got emotional, started crying, and said she was upset. It was extremely unprofessional and made the entire experience uncomfortable. I just wanted to bathe my dog, not deal with unnecessary drama. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely don’t recommend this place.
I had such a fantastic experience at Pet Valu! The staff here are absolutely amazing—super friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to help. The store itself is incredibly clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing, making shopping a breeze. They have a fantastic selection of pet products, with a wide variety to choose from, ensuring you’ll find exactly what you need. What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. After making my purchase, the staff went above and beyond by helping me carry my bags to the door, which I thought was very, very nice! It’s those small gestures that truly make a difference. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this location to any pet owner!
Excellent staff and selection. More importantly they offer Dog Grooming in the back of the store. I'm so impressed with their skills that I drive my two Pom's up from downtown Toronto. Big shout out to Julia, she just finished with my boys and they look fantastic! Highly recommended!
