A few months ago, my sister passed away and we were looking for a hall for Celebration of Life reception within a few days of her passing. After much searching we found Lisa at the The Jewel Event Center who helped us through this difficult time. She was accommodating, helped us with menu options, showed us options for the hall set up, etc. She was very kind and compassionate. The food and service was exceptional and we all left feeling we did good by my sister. Thank You Lisa. We will definitely come back.
We recently had our wedding and stag at The Jewel-Lisa and everyone at The Jewel made our wedding and stag experience amazing. From the months of pre planning to the day of the wedding everything went flawlessly. Thank you for being patient with us and providing us with amazing customer service. The food was cooked to perfection and the venue was always clean. We will be coming back for our future functions. Thank you Lisa!!! Also, make sure you have the espresso martinis- 100/10!
We hosted my sons communion at The Jewel in June. Lisa was a huge help and was always easy to get ahold of whether it was by phone, email or text. Pricing was fairly reasonable for a Saturday in June and the portion sizes were very generous. Everything was great, the food was delicious and flavorful and the entire facility was well kept and clean. I only stumbled upon one issue, we asked for the steaks to be medium well and they came out medium rare. To some it was okay, to others they had asked the servers to have them cooked longer but it made no difference. I wish the chef paid closer attention to this detail as it was specified. But overall, we were happy with our experience at The Jewel. And just to add the servers and bartender we had that evening were absolutely phenomenal and very attentive.
We recently hosted a grade 8 graduation party at The Jewel, and it was excellent from start to finish! The venue itself is spacious, clean, and well decorated. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The serving staff was friendly and attentive which made the evening truly enjoyable. The food was outstanding. Everything we had was delicious, beautifully presented and fresh. I particularly loved the shared antipasto platters to start. Overall, the Jewel is a great venue to celebrate any special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we are grateful to the team for making the day so memorable!
We had our wedding reception here at the Jewel Event Center on October 19, 2024! We can’t express how happy we are with the remarkable service we received especially from Lisa, Lauren and all the staff at the Jewel !! Finalizing to the actual day of the reception Lisa and Lauren have been so helpful and accommodating. Our guest had an amazing time and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how tasty the food, dessert and the late night food station was and most importantly the open bar !! PS. Everyone left super full and kept saying how amazing the pasta was ! I also want to thank the bartender John, for making our signature drinks that night, we loved our mojito and tequila sunrise ☺️ I highly recommend the Jewel event Center, Thank you so much Kristalyn & Mark
I visited the Jewel and met with Mina. She was super friendly, patient, and informative. She gave me options and recommendations. Her ideas brought on a welcoming and service oriented feel that made me feel like they were the right choice. She showed me around the various rooms so that I had an idea of which one may best fit our needs. Without a doubt, I visited their open house to try out her suggestions and get a feel for the menu ideas and room selection suggestions she had made. The food was delicious, and the vibe was phenomenal. (You MUST try their blueberry gnocchi) 5 Stars All Around !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great work! Give them a try!!
As a chef I'm familiar with the quality in banquet style cooking and I was impressed ...the Bartender was great ... only complaint I'd have Is if your booking a dj have them bring their own system.
