Bad experience Steven was lied about Groupon and charge extra money. It like double or triple. highlights colour is not what I asked hair cut not properly done. not to go there anymore.
Very disappointed. I bought Groupon for cut and partial highlight. I didn’t expect to have additional $160+ charge for the partial highlight. I ended up only getting the haircut..which turned out to be uneven.
They don't even deserve 1 star. I purchased a Groupon voucher deal which included "1 haircut, single-process color, wash & style" for my mom. They cancelled or rescheduled every appointment we made with them. My mom either left work early for the appointment or took a day off. So far they always cancelled last minute on her. They're not professional & always making excuses. The 1st appointment my mom tried to make they said she had to pay to see better results for the color. She advised them that we already paid for the Groupon service & we didn't want to pay extra. No where on the Groupon does it mention we need to pay extra. The 2nd last appointment we wanted to make through the phone - they advised we had to schedule online. So we booked 3 weeks ago for Mon, Mar 4 @ 4pm because it was one of the available time listed. They called Fri, Mar 1 to cancel again - they said everyone leaves the salon at 4pm & can't accommodate because the service will take about 2 hours. They're greedy. They shouldn't have a Groupon deal available if they can't keep their promises. They're very unprofessional & have a terrible service. I haven't redeemed my Groupon & choosing not to redeem after the terrible service so far as my first time. I requested Groupon to give refund. I truly don't recommend them.
Moving provinces is already a big change, however changing your hair dresser can be scary! For my first Ontario experience with Hair by Steven, my platinum white silver blonde hair, has never come out so perfect on the first attempt. My hair is so soft and the colour matches my extensions perfectly. Steven and his staff are friendly, professional and I had never felt more comfortable and confident. Parking is free and easy, the salon is gorgeous and I cannot wait to get my hair done again. Thank you so much Steven!
Absolute blissful experience! It being my first time, Steven made me feel welcome and secure within his space. He was intricate with colour tone and precision when tending my hair, and made sure I was comfortable from start to finish. He’s a true gentleman! I left with no regrets, and felt luxury in my entire being. It was very much needed for me to finally sit down and be taken care of. And because of the immaculate results, him giving me the perfect red I wanted, I’ll be coming back without a doubt!
I got a hair cut specifically layers and curtain bangs done by Steven. I think the cut came out great and I like the new look especially as I had cut off a lot of length. My issue, and this is partly my fault as I didn't confirm before starting the haircut, is I was very surprised by the price. His website quotes $45-65 for a women's hair cut, but the total came out to $78.60 with tax. If we had discussed the price beforehand, I would have probably looked elsewhere as that's a bit out of my budget. I still tipped of course as I was satisfied with the hair cut, but I don't think it was worth the price I paid. It was a super simple cut. Just as a change in business practice for next time, I would recommend telling the customer right at the beginning what the price is going to be especially when there is no set price on the website and it's listed as a range. As the service had already been completed I felt pressured to pay.
Horrible experience . I can't leave 2 comments from the same email . So I'm using my other email. Updating the situation. Steven had contacted me via email I explained why I left the review. I asked for a we found and he denied it. I spent $300 to look like this. Steven then said that he can offer me a hair treatment that I can take home with me , and asked me to remove the previous review. I explained that I will remove the review once I pick up the product. I understand there's no going back after this , this cannot be fixed , but I do expect some kind of compensation . I came to the salon as we agreed , to pick up the hair treatment . I will talk to so poorly , I just wanted to come pick up the item delete the review and leave. He didn't let me take the product , I don't understand why , he started yelling at me to leave his salon , but he's not going to give me the product anymore and if I don't leave he will call the police. I don't understand this man whatsoever . He doesn't want to take the responsibility for what happened didn't apologize sincerely even once . He was very nice to me when I was getting my hair done , but once I came home and realized what I look like , I couldn't hold my tears . I lose faith in humanity day by day because of people like like him . It is okay my hair will grow back but his personality stays with him . This is the end results guys . You do your thinking before going there . I have our email conversation where he said that he can give me the product , I showed up and all I got is yelling . I've never felt so disrespected by a business owner that claims to be professional. He is very unprofessional , doesn't have people skills . All I wanted is just a refund and call it the day . You messed up take responsibility for your professional work . My skul is burnt and still in pain . By the way I am missing a lot of hair from underneath too , , and all over my head it just doesn't show good enough in the pictures .I really want to sue this place if anyone knows where I can go please tell me .
