I brought my BMW to BMWizzard for what should have been a straightforward service—coolant replacement, and new fluids for the differentials and transfer case. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. At no point was I asked what type of fluids I preferred for my BMW, which already raised concerns. When I asked whether adaptations would be reset after the service, I was literally laughed at, making me feel like I was asking something ridiculous—when in reality, it’s a standard requirement on newer BMWs. The worst part came when I discovered that the wrong coolant was used—coolant meant for older BMW models. When I brought this up, I was told that “in his experience, it’s better.” I tried explaining that even if the original coolant is flushed, you can’t remove every last trace, and mixing incompatible coolants can cause serious engine issues. The response I got? “I’m not a chemist.” I was told I could come back and he’d replace it—which would be nice if I had any trust left. With that attitude, I wouldn’t trust Mat with my car ever again. Based on some of the other reviews I’ve read, I’m sure he’ll have a snarky remark saying I don’t know what I’m talking about—but this is my fifth BMW. Maybe he’s fine with older models, but it’s clear there is a lack of knowledge and sophistication when it comes to servicing newer vehicles. In the end, I had to take my car to another shop to redo all the work performed by BMWizzard. I paid significantly more to have it corrected, but at least now I know the job was done properly, with the correct fluids, proper procedures, and—most importantly—the level of care my car deserves.
Matt is a great, straightforward no bullshit mechanic. To the people who complain about his attitude, realize he works under pressure everyday dealing with BMW’s “genius” engineering designs, and cheap people who do not maintain their car. He also has to deal with the phone and shop operation. It is not easy. Be direct and straightforward with him and it is smooth sailing.
What you see is what you get he is an extremely genuine and brutally honest on his impressions and diagnostics. So a person who can diagnose and solve bank breaking issues for a fraction of cost. What you expect? he is overloaded with customers, and the speed at which he works is mind blowing. Dealers would take couple weeks to catch up the sheer volume of car he fixes in a day, he got no time to talk so don’t expect any sales pitch. I wouldn’t trust my X5 with anyone but him.
Rude people in this place that have no clue what they are doing. They make screw ups and then try to tell you that they didn't have anything to do with it. What a coincidence that after an oil change there's a puddle of oil on the floor, then they claim that there was a pre-existing oil leak as if I wasn't going to notice it on my brand new concrete driveway in the last 6 months. And these guys are BMW's professionals? These goofs should work at a Fred Flintstone shop in the cartoon series LOL
The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their mechanics go above and beyond. I went in for an oil change and during the oil change my brakes was checked and adjusted, they made sure all my lights are in working condition. Moreover, I had a wire cut on my tire sensor and that one got fixed. The best part is honesty and pricing. Mind you guys, it's very hard to find an honest and great prices to get your car serviced. After I got my car I felt relieved and stressed free. Thanks alot Matt and your crew for taking good care of my car. Cheers!
After going to different BMW shops technicians that they call themselves experienced, to diagnose the clunk in the front end my x3, so I decided to go to the bmwizard and let me tell you he found the problem within seconds the car is been fixed, Great work
Called him for a quote and he said he doesn’t know how to work on my car then just hangs up on my face, not sure why you would call yourself bmwizard but you tell you only work on bmws 04 and up
