I have been to this Carstar location twice as recommended by my insurance company, to service my Rav4 and both times I had to go back to next day or few days later to have them re-fix part of the work done which was unsatisfactory. Very poor quality of work. High prices. I do not recommend to have your vehicle serviced at this carstar location.
This is what they consider "Paint Matching" and they're appraiser said my insurance wasn't paying for blending, when in fact it's their appraiser that forgot to include it on the quote. They also don't keep you informed of delays and are hard to get on the phone. Would not recommend or use again.
Update: the flagged this review. These people are scam artists. Please do not take your car here. After being in a major chain reaction collision I brought my car here as it was an approved shop by our insurance company (ThePersonal.) I read the positive reviews and was very positive that my car would be repaired and restored to its original condition. Well I was wrong. This shop over estimates damage and takes short cuts. The only items damaged was the front bumper, front hood, rear bumper and dents to the front fenders. However, they went ahead and replaced the AC condenser, HVAC lines, and both OEM LED headlights. To make matters worse, most of the internal parts were all replaced with Tier 2 aftermarket. My OEM LED headlights were in excellent condition - but now I have blue hue aftermarket lights. My AC and heating has never worked the same since the car went to this shop. There were no issues with AC or heating after the accident. In addition the paint job in many areas was poor with unsmooth edges and black spots on the corners. After a week of having the car, the front bumper kept on popping out. I went back twice for it to be re-attached and it kept coming apart. The shop gave up and told me the following: the part is aftermarket and doesn't seem to fit properly. You're not entitled to OEM parts. Buy the OEM body part and we will paint and install it for you free of charge. So I bought the OEM front bumper and they painted it. Guess what? The OEM bumper still does not fit properly. It's clear this shop did not repair the fender and now they blame Toyota and had the nerve to say I tampered with the car. I was dumbfounded that this shop refused to take responsibility and had the nerve to blame me. This shop is a total scam and has no interest in doing quality work. I have full details of all my interactions and pictures to show this shop fits the bill of the stereotypical body collision shops: they are scam artists who use the cheapest parts and labor possible to suck as much money as possible from the insurance company. If you're in an accident do your self a favour and stay away from this shop.
I DONT KNOW IF THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM OR NOT BUT THE EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS THE WORST AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL THEY ARE LIARS AND DONT RESPECT ANYONE'S TIME I HAD MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO DROP OFF MY CAR TO GET IT FIXED AT LEAST 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. THEY NEVER MADE THE RESERVATION UNTIL THAT MORNING I WAS COMING TO DROP OFF MY CAR AND HAD ME WAITING AROUND 45 MINS BEFORE THE RENTAL SHOWED UP I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND THE MALE AT THE DESK REFUSED TO GIVE ME A MANAGER NAME OR CONTACT INFO I NEVER ENDED UP GETTING THE CAR RENTAL BECAUSE THE AUTO SHOP DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH MY CAR INSURANCE SO ENTERPRISE WAS EXPECTING ME TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE RENTAL. I CANCELED THE RENTAL AND TOLD THE GENTLEMAN THAT I WONT BE COMING HERE TO DO ANY REPAIRS AND HE LAUGHED PLEASE DO RESEARCH FOR YOURSELF BEFORE GOING HERE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BECAUSE OTHERS EXPERIENCED A SIMILAR HORRIBLE TIME I HAVE YET TO HEAR BACK FROM THEIR HEAD OFFICE PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PPL YOUR MONEY
The staff here are absolutely professional and friendly. I would recommend them 100%! The staff here know exactly what they're doing, which brings you peace of mind. After being in a minor collision I was extremely satisfied with the service here. Not only did I received my car within 1 week as promised but I got back my car looking brand new. I will definitely be recommending Carstar Concord to my family and friends.
I recommend this shop very highly. The mechanic who helped me get the stuck seatpost out of my bicycle worked extremely fast and effectively. I am sure that no other shop would have managed to get it out.
Update: I had another misfortune when my car got into a man made very deep pothole in an "under construction" parking lot, which was covered with water . Carstar Concord fixed the car again to the highest standards. However, They missed on small triangle close to the rear wheel (see the pictures). I missed that too and I only realised the problem several months later. I contacted the company and they fixed the triangle for free, no questions asked. I even got a ride home when I left the car and when I picked it up. Now, if this ins not the perfect service, I don't know what it is. 5*+ Original review: This may be very well be the best car body shop in the entire GTA. Prasanth is a honest manager that gives you fair prices for the work and advises you just to replace what is needed. Very accommodating and turned the whole ordeal of going through a stressful period after an accident almost in a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place, which I chose based on previous reviews although I had a Carstar Markham near home
