⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing! I visited Anna & Lucio’s Trattoria today for lunch with some friends, and everything was exceptional from start to finish. We enjoyed the Orecchiette Alla Paesana, Gnocchi Alla Aaliyah, and Pizza Alla Paesana, all paired perfectly with an incredible bottle of red wine. The service and atmosphere were warm and welcoming, and we even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who shared her family’s story and how this wonderful restaurant came to be. So many places claim to serve authentic Italian cuisine, but I can assure you Anna & Lucio’s Trattoria is the real deal. We’ll definitely be back soon — and next time, I’m bringing my whole family!
First time attending Anna and Lucio’s with family and would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! From the atmosphere to the service and food it was phenomenal. The photos are the Calamari to start, amazing not to salty, very flavourful. The special was straciatella with spinach and tortellini. Amazing soup and the portion was filling for an appetizer I was quite shocked. They also gave us 2 servings of bread (which many places do not do that). For the mains we had the mushroom risotto, very rich, flavourful and creamy perfect amount of seasoning. Not too watery like most places. The veal chop with a SIDE of penne alla vodka was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try 2 different dishes so they accommodated for me to get 2 different pastas (shows in photo 4) for the price of one dish. The handmade gnocchi with meat sauce was amazing and full of flavour and my second choice was the penne alla vodka and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. I have never been to a place where I could get 2 great portioned and flavourful dishes for the price of one!!! The veal Parmesan and penne à la vodka was to die for and was cooked perfectly not full of fat like some other places that I have been toO!! The tiramisu dessert was amazing along with the pistachio, lemon and tarrone was very light, yummy and sweet!! The service was amazing. The accommodations that we were able to make along with the portion size sizes is very rare to find and made the experience 100% better. I would for sure recommend doing a party or coming here for special occasions or just something casual!!!
Ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich during taste of Italy. Extremely disappointed, paid over $14 and got a cold sandwich that didn't taste good and no parmesan, had to go back and they sprinkled little bit of parmesan on top but the sandwich was still cold.. waste of money sorry.
I love this restaurant! It is out of this world southern Italian cooking! The food they make is very similar to how my grandmother would make food because they were from the same area! The food is flavourful, the staff are welcoming and feels like your home for a family dinner! Certain nights they have live music and entertainment! It is really fun and enjoyable!
A nice Italian restaurant in this area. The Calamari was great, it had the right amount of batter and it tasted fresh, the soup was not to my satisfaction, mostly broccoli and cabbage and broth was flavourless. I did see some guests eating pasta and it looked great. Service was efficient but unenthusiastic, which is fine I guess. I noticed live music was about to start.
I attended my friend's event here and was pleasantly surprised. Food – I expected the usual Italian fare, but it turned out to be a bit more elevated, though still hearty and satisfying. While the flavors were enjoyable, the overall experience was just average. That said, for a fixed event menu, the variety was impressive, and I genuinely enjoyed everything I tried. Service – The staff was fantastic. They were attentive, quick, and super helpful. The presence of a full bar was a nice touch, and we were offered both sparkling and still water, which added to the experience. Their attentiveness really enhanced the event's vibe. Atmosphere – Although the space felt a bit cramped, they managed to make it work. Their pride in their Italian heritage is evident throughout the space, creating a warm, homey feel with charming knick-knacks that I personally loved.
Spent a wonderful afternoon with family and friends celebrating a communion. The staff and service was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. Tanya and her staff are doing a great job and take a lot of pride ensuring her guests have an unforgettable experience.
