went on a tuesday night and it was a bit quiet, but not as much as we thought. our server still gave us great attention nonetheless! ordered two drinks and a pizza and it was all so good! for the others, one to two drinks, an app, and a main course, and all was also amazing. not many options in terms of being vegetarian but what they do have is good. cocktails were great, and they even brought out cake for my nonna's birthday without really even asking! so kind and sweet (:
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Cento40! I’ve hosted many events here over the years, including some of our most special occasions - our wedding rehearsal dinner and more recently our daughter’s baptism - and every single experience has been absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the process is seamless. Booking with Gina is such a pleasure - her communication, organization, and attention to detail are truly 10/10. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is flawless, even offering beautiful rental charger plates and glassware to elevate the table setting. For our last event, my daughter's baptism, my husband dropped off additional décor and florals the morning of and the Cento40 staff set everything up so beautifully - I was blown away by how stunning everything looked when we walked in the restaurant! The food is always delicious, the service is incredible, and the atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming. You can truly feel that this is a loving family-run restaurant, and they are the sweetest people to work with. Whether you’re planning a special celebration or just want a great night out, I couldn’t recommend Cento40 more highly. They make every occasion feel memorable and effortless. This restaurant is a scam. Ordered Fazzoletti Verdi for $36, menu says : house made spinach pasta stuffed with lobster & spigola in a cherry tomato, shrimp & white wine sauce. The actual product has no lobster, just a few tiny shrimp. This is outrageous rip off, will never go back.
We hosted our engagement party with around 50 people. I just wanted to thank Gina for her ongoing communication and help. Mario and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and were easy going. Saturday was truly perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. The team made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the night. We are very grateful for making our engagement party unforgettable. Marie & Matthew
EDIT in response: EDITING AGAIN BECAUSE THE RESTAURANT LIED. I AM ATTACHING PROOF OF WALNUT PIZZA AND OTHER NUT PIZZA FROM THEIR OWN MENU AND INSTAGRAM PAGE. THEY ALSO CHANGED THEIR ORIGINAL RESPONSE. Nut allergies are hard to deal with. Mistakes happen. This has happened before and when the restaurant team apologized and fixed the system that causes the error, it's forgiven and forgotten. For example, the restaurant responded by asking "when?" A good system would ensure that your team reports this to management immediately. Cento40, I sincerely think the correct response to this incident is to train your team to deal with allergies and minimize liability. OG review: Pretty restaurant. I let the server know I'm allergic to all nuts. Walnuts right on top of the pizza and I get major allergic reaction. Had to use emergency medicine. No apology from servers and later another customer confronted me outside later because staff saw fit to gossip. Somehow I'm a villian for people upset that the 1 server forgot to tell the 1 chef about food concerns? I sincerely regret not calling the Canadian Food Inspection Agency when this happened. People like this take money, market their product as "elevated" and will run you over on their way to the bank.
First time I went for lunch and loved it, the place is clean, bright and modern, food was great, the staff and chief were hands on and pleasant, price was decent , the wines were reasonable priced.... I went there yesterday for my bday and the food was awesome
