I recently visited to pick up my medicine and was taken aback by the tipping option on the credit card machine. In a time when many are struggling financially due to the ongoing recession, it feels inappropriate to pressure customers into tipping for a service that should be standard. Healthcare should be accessible and affordable, and adding a tipping option only adds to the burden. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this doctor’s office. Despite their posted closing time of 5:30 PM, I arrived at 5:00 PM, after driving 20 minutes in heavy traffic, only to be told that the doctor was no longer seeing patients for the day. I just needed a quick prescription refill, something that would have taken two minutes, but the receptionist was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She flat-out refused to let me speak to the doctor and showed no consideration for the inconvenience I had gone through to get there. If you’re going to advertise your hours until 5:30 PM, you should honor them or at least treat your patients with some basic courtesy. I won’t be returning to this office and cannot recommend it to others.
I suffer from a lot of skin tags around the neck. I had my first skin tag removal treatment at Venice medical. I am so happy with the results. The skin tag spots are healing so quickly. I was also so happy with the treatment. She was so patient with me and explained step by step. It didn’t hurt at all which was amazing!! I’m looking forward to having my 2nd treatment done this Saturday and get more skin tags removed. Highly recommend!!
I have been seeing Dr Haroon for about 3 years. She is so dedicated , very knowledgeable, and is an amazing Dr . Listens to me and advises on my needs. She makes you feel very comfortable. I moved from Vaughan to Toronto and I am still seeing her as my Dr. So Happy
the one star is for the lovely, kind, helpful receptionist who thankfully pointed me in the direction of a different doctor before i had the displeasure of meeting mrs. haroon. mrs. haroon denied me healthcare based on the fact that i had an out of province health card, which unless you’re from quebec, does not matter. we were also told that she chooses to see her patients before anyone else at the walk in, which also isn’t ethical. my dad is a doctor in a different province and unfortunately for mrs. haroon, i am not ignorant on how these things work. the other clinic that we went to was packed, probably because this clinic refuses to see anybody and tells people to go somewhere else (good idea, based on other peoples’ reviews about this “doctor”). we went to a third clinic after that, who immediately took me in without questioning my health card. mrs. haroon, that’s how that works in canada by the way, perhaps you should read up on our healthcare laws. thank you again to the great receptionist who made the experience less uncomfortable. i hope mrs. haroon had a very relaxing morning since she had no patients to care for. don’t bother leaving a weird passive aggressive response to this, as i certainly will not be coming back. edit: if it was a medical emergency, why would i be going to a walk in clinic? common sense is not being used here. very unprofessional and ignorant response, your practice should be investigated. very strange behaviour.
Dr. Haroon has been my family doctor for 4 years now. She is very caring, attentive and compassionate. She always makes me feel at ease when I visit her busy office and is always very eager to help clarify all of my health concerns and questions. She takes immediate measures to send me for further testing when needed. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Haroon after my family doctor retired after so many years. She’s a true blessing and I know I am in good hands and I look forward to many more years with her. Thank you Dr. Haroon.
Honestly, I was extremely disappointed today. I never ever write reviews but it has become important because others need to know. We've visited this place about 3 times concerning our kids because we live right behind the plaza and our family doctor is slightly further away. We were actually going to switch our family doctor/pediatrician to this place but we wanted to take our time. Thank God we did. Upon my visit today, after waiting almost 1 hour which is ok, the doctor before even getting my symptoms asked why I didn't go to my family doctor and I was puzzled at the unfriendly opening statement. I answered that this is the closest to our home and being busy dealing with some other family emergencies didn't allow me to have the time to go further away. Immediately I felt unwanted. After mentioning my symptoms she quickly put together requisitions and while trying to tell her something else I noticed she told me to STOP, that she won't listen to that now because it was after 2PM and she was CLOSED - this is while I was still in her office - my wife looked at me with a puzzled look and we just kept quiet and didn't argue. It was clear that we'd never be back there nor refer any neighbor. Why would any one want to visit a doctor who is not ready to listen. I will not be visiting this place and if you plan on making this your family doctor - I would suggest you visit the place a few times as a walk in to see how you are treated before making any firm commitments.
