Last night my friends and I visited this location, associate named Erika was helping us, upon arrival no greetings at all, be were on our own first of all, no greetings at all. Furthermore, upon asking to try couple of samples from Tom Ford, she was giving judging look that we were there for time-pass, we bought Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum. Later on, we were interested in other perfumes, as we decided another one, ‘Prada Milan 90ml’ I just showed her this picture that gift set is better value why not get a gift set, she just denied that its just showing online, often it’s incorrect. I told her that it’s understandable that one or two would be incorrect or misplaced items, but when it comes to 9 its huge number in terms of inventory. My question is just for Beauty Boutique’s manager is if you guys wanted to increase revenue, why just this type of associate is right there, who dont wanted to even pull their weight when comes to business, I haven’t asked it for free or from goodwill gesture as we bought Tom Ford.
This is the worst place to get your prescription. We placed a pickup prescription and then came here 30mins after and the pharmacist said he didn’t get anything. He then checked his fax machine and it was there but he didn’t notice. Fair enough. He then said he needed 30 mins so we left and came back. When we got back he said he needed another 30mins and now it’s been one hour and a 45’ins and it’s still not prepared and ready. It would’ve been understandable if he was busy but there’s no one here. He kept sending us away and it’s been upsetting as we’ve spent almost 2hrs. Once we got the prescription, we checked and it was the wrong mg! Upon payment he said it was only covered to a certain % which after we checked with Sun life it was covered 100% Hamza the pharmacist has no idea what he’s doing, wasting people’s time and misleading customers. Very frustrating and poor experience.
Lora Is A Great Manager - People like Lora are the best example of Canadian values and justice. God bless Lora. I came to Pick Up My Money From Money Gram and the Canada Post Officer Gagan was as usual Pathetic and disgraceful & harsh - she took my signature on the amount and after that she said “ sorry we dont have money “ while money gram status said “Money Received Completed” Gagan asked me to leave and come back on Monday and I said no I will not leave because according according to the system, you have paid me the money, but I have no proof and you have paid me no money. It was then Lora, the store manager who stepped in and said these golden words “ we owe you money and we are definitely gonna pay you now” - I was blessed to have her presence. People like Lora are the best example of Canadian values and justice. God bless Lora
The store is clean, well-organized with a big cosmetics section. At the time when I visited the pharmacy some basic first aid items were not available.
I have been a regular customer at this location for the past six years and have always appreciated the courteous and helpful staff. However, I had a very disappointing experience on the evening of June 12. There was a cashier named Rivika working during my visit. When I asked her a simple question about a product, she completely ignored me. I also greeted her politely, but she did not acknowledge me in any way. To make matters worse, she said something in her local language, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially given her unwillingness to assist me. This is the first time I’ve encountered such rude behavior at this location, and it left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as it’s important to maintain the friendly and helpful service this location has been known for.
Twinkle at the shipping department was very helpful and sweet to me and helped me through my visit. I always come to this location but today's visit was a great experience thank you Twinkle!
Good Shoppers Drug Mart location, staff are friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is not so good in my opinion, but this can be hit or miss depending on the pharmacy staff since there is a high turnover rate. Updated 2025/07/11 - pharmacy is still awful, they rarely has stock of common prescription drugs, that staff is generally short with customers or rude, depending on who you deal with. Otherwise the Shoppers drug Mart is still a great store, minus the pharmacy.
