Had a 75th surprise Ladies Lunch for my mom today. Vivo was an intricate part of this event!! They were amazing and so helpful. Accommodated all of my requests. The food was STELLAR. Portion sizes were phenomenal especially for the price! Everyone ordered different dishes and they were really good at getting 15 different dishes out fairly close together!!! Our server Leanna was a true gem. She was so caring towards all the ladies who were older in age. She treated them all like her zias and nonnas! And the rest of the staff there had a constant smile on their faces. I would gladly host another event here.
Vivo Pizza & Pasta is one of our go to restaurant’s for my wife and I. Great Italian food selection, Service and the pricing is fair for the quality and portions. We enjoy the fried calamari/shrimp combo & a Vivo Salad for antipasto! A must try! For main dishes a great wood oven Pizza or Pasta dish! Checkout the menu as there is something for everyone. A great dinner option for couples and families!
The first time we tried Vivo in Vaughan a few years ago, we ordered a couple of pizzas and calamari to share. We were immediately impressed at the portion size of the calamari because it was significantly larger than an appetizer portion. However, we were at Vivo Vaughan a few weeks ago and decided to order the calamari fritti and the sausage and rapini pizza. When the calamari came, we were disappointed because the cost of the food went up about $4 and the portion was a lot smaller. When we asked the server, he shrugged it off and didn't offer any kind of solution to ease the situation after seeing we were upset at the lack of food in our plate. It's funny, we were at the North York location a few days ago, and we also ordered the calamari fritti and the sausage and rapini pizza, and the portion was just as we imagined: generous, filling, and hot! We never have an issue with the food and if there is something wrong, the servers do their best to make sure we have the best dining experience. For this, I am giving Vivo Vaughan two stars for food, three for service, and four for atmosphere, and overall, two stars. I think we'll just keep going to the North York location. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Brought a big group for dinner and Kierra was fantastic. Great service and very fast! My pizza was a special that night but I wish it was on the regular menu because it was so good! (Sausage/Funghi/Truffle Oil) The bolognese gnocchi was also delicious! Will definitely be back.
I went in tonight with a group of 16 people. Kierra took great care of us. As soon as we came in and were seated, she asked us what we wanted in the way of drinks and told us what people ordered the most. I had the calamari which was so delicious. I also tried the fungi mushroom pasta with sausage and that was absolutely delicious. Kierra had our food out to us so fast and always came up to the table to chat with us. She was so sweet. Everyone was so friendly. I’ll definitely be going back to this location.
I don't know if the other locations are like this, but this is my kind of restaurant. I usually leave Italian restaurants hungry, but their quantities were larger and their prices are more than fair. Really enjoyed the vodka penne.
went there with my family for dinner, the food was better than i expected, service was good considering they were busy, the atmosphere was good, we were 13 people, nice size portions, my first time there.it is my first time there , i really liked my beet salad...will definetely recommend, if i can i will return...dessert was good as well, the cheesecake with blueberry tasted so fresh,, it was not hard as other i have tried,, the tiramisu was not impressive, looks like the just scooped it up from a bucket and dumped it in a used jam jar,, i expected better for a tiramisu, it is my favourite dessert,,, total turn off. other than that pleasent server .....service with a smile...
