Came here today and I was so unbothered by her work she was putting the fake tips on and could not seen that the size was not the same and kept going I decided to leave I’m not coming back please get professional nail tech
THEY ARE NEVER ONTIME AND DO NOT RESPECT CLIENTS BOOKED APPOINTMENTS!!! If I could give this nail salon 0 stars I would. This is now the SECOND TIME I booked an appointment, and again I had to wait over 45 minutes and the nail technician still wasn't done with her other client. She had specifically told me to come at 4pm which I did and waited. She didn't even realize that it was daylight saving and her clock wasn't even changed to the correct time. She accused me of being late 1 hour, and I BLASTED her, explaining that her clock is set at the wrong time! This incompetent woman didn't realize, with daylight saving, you have to SET THE CLOCKS BACK 1 HOUR. When I arrived, her clock said 5pm when in fact it was actually 4pm. It is NOT MY FAULT that she was lazy to change the time on her clock. This type of error is so RIDICULOUS AND IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!!! The last time I was at this horrible nail salon (Which was my 1st time, being a new client), I waited over an hour, thinking that they wouldn't make the same mistake for my 2nd visit today on Sunday November 6, 2022. What makes me very livid, is that I gave this nail salon the benefit of the doubt. Now today I waited over 45 minutes.....Are you kidding me? I left and told her that she just lost my business. LADIES THERE ARE A TONE OF OTHER BETTER, RESPONSIBLE AND RESPECTABLE NAIL SALONS IN THORNHILL AND RICHMOND HILL. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! THESE PEOPLE JUST DON'T CARE! I WILL NEVER NEVER GO BACK THERE!!!!!!! IT SUCH A WASTE OF MY PRESCIOUS TIME!!!!!! Also, there must be something very shady with this nail salon because before it used to be called Pyramid nails and now they changed it to Pix Nails. Companies that changes their name, usually have something to hide or try to avoid customers suing them for things that weren't supposed to be done when they were called Pyramid nails. SO PLEASE BEWARE!!!
I had booked an appointment with Ben after being recommended to him by a friend. When he walked in right off the bat I got a good vibe. He had me checked in and sat me down and we went over what I wanted, which was a care bear design. I couldn’t find good inspiration to show him, yet he still did so well. At a lot of nail salons I’ve noticed that when they file your acrylics down, it HURTS. I’ve tried several nails salons in the area and honestly this one was the best. I didn’t feel a thing, and he explained to me how. He also had these vent type things that pick up the crumbs of like the acrylics when they’re filed down to minimize the mess. He definitely knew what he was doing, and EVERYTHING I hate about nail salons, this nail salon didn’t have. On their tv, they don’t play the news but they play music videos of actual popular music. They have a nice seating area, a nice aesthetic, they don’t talk too much to their employees while you’re there, and they mostly talk to you if they get the vibe that you want to talk, personally I love this because I have social anxiety. Honestly, they are expensive, but it’s worth it.
Called in beforehand and they quoted $50 for a biogel refill, which is a pretty standard price so I went in. After my nails were done, the girl who did my nails said the total was $80 for a refill on my real nails (no extension). I asked her how the price was calculated and she stated that she needed to do a full set (no refill) because after she shaved my previous set there was no gel base left. The other nail salons I’ve been to always charge a refill price as long as I walk into the salon with a full set of nails. I just felt this was odd and she also did not let me know while doing my nails that “there was no gel left so I need to redo my set”, only to find out the price when leaving the salon. Looking at the picture, the shape and design is pretty mediocre and not worth the price at all. Everyone I’ve shown thought this was a $40 set. Otherwise, the owner seemed to be very nice. Prices are absurd for the location and styles though.
Very professional and clean. Ben is very polite and makes sure you like every part of the service. He did an amazing job on my nails and I will definitely be coming back ? I showed Ben a reference picture and he nailed it to a T ! Exactly what I wanted and I’m so happy with how they turned out ?
Came here with my friends after having booked an appointment. Upon getting there, the nail tech was rushing us and telling us he didn’t have time to do any designs because he had to go home. If he didn’t have the time to do a good job, he never should’ve booked our appointments at the time he did. I won’t be going back. Tried this place because of good reviews, unfortunately it fell extremely short and I felt uncomfortable and rushed. Won’t be returning.
Just stumbled upon this place because my main nail place was full, and was incredibly impressed. They are so sweet, and did a great job on my nails! I think I found a new main nail place! Highly recommend!
