TOOK A FULL WEEK TO GET MY MONEY BACK after, I placed an order they couldn't complete, due to the lack of staff, and they didn't even start the order. It took them a full week for a refund and I had to walk into the store to get cash
Use to love coming to this place but they have seriously cut on costs with the food as it does not taste the same at all. Chicken strips burnt and piping hot gravy that is tasteless. Chicken strips have way too much breading now and the grilled chicken sandwich chicken is way smaller. Lost a customer.
I’ve been to countless burger places and I would have to say this is one of my favourites so far! Simran was super helpful and so nice. I got the beefbloc double burger, a crispy chicken burger and a poutine. The burger was perfectly done, super juicy and what completes a burger is a great bun. They had a super soft bun for both the sandwiches that really topped it off. The chicken burger was super tender and juicy as well with the breading being done to perfection. The poutine was also a 10/10. All in all a spectacular burger joint hats off to the owner!
If you’re craving a crispy, freshly fried chicken burger, this is the WRONG place to be. I ordered via UE 2 crispy chicken ($13.49 each) which came with a promo of 2 mini beef burger ($4.99 each but free with promo). The beef burger had a raw and stale smell to it. My husband who loves beef burgers spat it out after 1 bite. My husband cooks and makes a juicy fried chicken burger. So when he saw this, he immediately said it’s fried in old oil. One bite and you can taste how rancid the oil makes the chicken. The coating was a dark brown colour and falling off the thin chicken breast piece. The lettuce was stale. There is no tomato as advertised. The pickle looks like it’s from the bottom of the jar, the remnants of it. We hate throwing away food because food is a provision and a blessing, but after a few bites, our stomachs don’t feel good so the rest of the food may get tossed out. First and last time eating at BurgerBloc.
I am very disappointed to write this that I went to burger bloc last night and we made our order and had food the customer service was extremely disappointing their sales man an Indian guy started abusing and did a fight with us the reason behind was I wanted a sauce and he said its paid and its not mine first time here I get the sauce for free anyways I purchased it but when I asked him for forks and if do we have to pay for it or its free he started screaming at my face (don't be a cheap person) and yelling on my face and later started abusing me I want this guy to be fired who doesn't know how serve their customers and he was abusing 3 of us even though we weren't the one who started the fight very disappointing and I am gonna take action on him and wont recommend anyone
Served my sister (whom is 7 btw) an orange juice 2 months after expiration PLUS stale bun for her cheeseburger. My burger and poutine was good tho, but cmon
The food arrived late and cold, definitely not fresh. On top of that, the promotion with free fries was missing. When I called the restaurant, the staff was rude and unhelpful, and told me it was basically my own problem. Very unprofessional and disappointing — I will not be ordering from here again.
