We have used this company for AC and furnace for over 25. The most recent experience was so negative that I will not be using them in any capacity in the future. Events: - AC unit leaked water in the unfinished basement - Called repair person, did a brief inspection of the area (did not actually open up the unit), said a new unit was needed - 8 days was the quickest date we could get a new unit - Less than 48 hours after installation, the new AC was leaking in the exact same place as the old unit (from a hose on the exterior of the unit which was not changed with the unit) - From 2:00pm in the afternoon, we called dispatch 3 separate times to have someone service the new installation which was leaking. Noone returned our call until 9:00 at night - My father, (who has a service contract with the company) decided to put a call in for us. He left our phone number to call back. We finally got our phone call returned after 7 hours and 3 calls. Even though less than 48 hours ago we spent over $5,000 on a new unit, the only way we got a reply was to someone who had a service contract with them called - When the repair person came the next day, they replaced a small external hose that goes into the drain - this fixed the problem - Question: A new unit replaced the old; the same problem persisted until a new hose was installed… did we in fact even need a new unit, or just a new $10 piece of hose? I wonder? - After this experience, we called and left a message for someone from the company to call… over two weeks later, no one has bothered to reach out, hence this review I would leave 0 stars, but that is not an option on this platform.
Nick did a great job at our furnace maintenance appointment last week. He called ahead of time with a 30 minute heads up, and arrived on time. He did a thorough check of the furnace and took the time to explain all of the readings. Thanks Nick!
Marcello and his team provided great service again! Air quality is so important to us, and we were relieved to have someone so knowledgeable and trustworthy help us get the units we need and answer any questions clearly. Plus, Marcello’s team members were so nice and took care to do quality work.
We had a good experience with Air Quality Dunrite. They were able to offer a good replacement unit for our AC at a better price than others I had contacted. Thank you for the fast and professional service. —- Updating this review based on the quality of the AC unit we received. It only lasted for 2.5 years. The compressor broke and was covered under warranty, so we waited 2 months for the replacement compressor to arrive and paid labour cost for it to be installed. The AC unit broke again after about 2 months of use this summer with the compressor once again not working. I would be cautious and won’t go to them again as I’m unsure of the quality of the service they are providing. Very disappointing that the AC repeatedly broke during heat waves just a couple years after it was installed.
I have been dealing with Air Quality Dunrite since at least 2006 and have found their service to be everything anyone could wish for. All work has been completed quickly and efficiently. I have never had to do any cleanup either. Also, their prices are competitive. I can recommend them unconditionally.
