We are old and my wife has breathing issues! They came in and sold us a filter system to clean the air better! With the promise to supply filters for 2 years ! Last year a salesman came in to check the system said he didn’t bring filters ! Said he would be back ! That was last year and we can’t find these filters anywhere ! Plus stickers on the machine says we can’t touch it ! I called them 2 days ago and they said they never agreed to filters for 2 years ! That’s the only reason we bought it to help my wife ! So today August 14th my wife got a call from MJ at the company , he said he was very upset and said he was going to deal with the customer service advisor because of the way he spoke to me ! He’s going to send a rebate check for the amount we paid for the filters we had to buy out of pocket ! I will update this when it happens ! MJ if you read this please call me , I’d like a free service and new filters delivered to my house thank you !
Very courteous at first. However I have been with no Air for days during the hottest heatwave . My mom is 80 and having a hard time breathing in the heat. I have called repeatedly and they just keep saying the tech is going to call me shortly. He never has. If my mom has a medical crisis it will be your fault. So to canadas choice...PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT CALL ME BACK.
The workers came at 10 am and left 4 pm and they did a good job and they were very nice and clean the mess they made before they left on a very cold day -7 outside.
I purchased a tank less hot water heater from this company just about a year ago little did i know it was installed incorrectly and I now have a safety code violation. I have attempted since October 26 to have the issue resolved ed to no avail. I am now at risk of having gas shut off. Would not recommend this company
I would like to write experience with this company. Canadian choice Home Service call me and send me one of agent in to my home to inspect my furnes.( which is also illegal how to get in to the house )They have no right to do inspection .They told me is old and ofer me 10 years warranty on new heat pump 10 years no interest no payment On Green program and Elmbridge rebate program. They promise and write everything on paper they will take care of all paper work and loan.Next day two guys come and install furnes and heat-pump Charge $ 14 500 + tax .A month after installation I find they didnt do any paper work and I have to apply my self.What they offer me was 3rd party loan with 6 month no interest so they can get money for job.right of wayThat take's them 2 days Fast.Be happy. So I apply for loan no interest for ten years.After month I get call from Government Green program they told me I will not get approve to get loan because I had to apply first for loan and then do work Also Canadian Choice added after an extra $ 200 ,- on top of this sum for extra work and not even told me Just steal more money from senior . $ 14500 .-+ tax No other invoice.Just they fill like they want more to robed old people When I call them no body care how as me senior have to find $ 16 500 in 3 month or after to have to pay 13.5 % I am a shame of them and be careful I will also write complain to Ontario Consumer Protection
If only zero stars was an option…. This is hands down the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. It took them 2 weeks to get my grandpas water back on and to fix a gas leak. Here’s the story… My grandpa is 80 years old and lives alone. I called them to report that their newly installed tankless water heater wasn’t making any hot water. The man on the phone told me it would take 3-5 business days to get their service department to call me to then book an appointment. I waited and finally when someone came 5 days later the technician said he couldn’t fix the problem and then I had to wait to Get a new part. After waiting until Tuesday of next week, I called the office asking for an update. They said they have no idea The heater wasn’t fixed And they weren’t aware of a part that needed ordering. They said they would contact me once the part came in. At this point, it was already over a week without hot water. The day after we smelled gas in the house. I called Enbridge hotline and they sent a technician right over to investigate. He shut down the gas to the whole house and said that the whole installation around the tankless water heater Was leaking gas. Basically, each fitting and connection they installed was leaking gas. I called Canadian choice right away and again they told me it would be a few days for someone to come out. There was leaking gas and they said to wait a few days. Long story short, it took 2 1/2 weeks to get everything fixed. Their technicians barely spoke English, so communication was hard. It took many appointments and it was only on the last one that he got fixed. There’s zero communication zero professionalism zero customer service. Their manager Felicia is terrible to deal with. She actually started yelling at me on the phone And wouldn’t even let me get a word in. I was of course very upset. My grandfather has Alzheimer’s and for the whole 2 1/2 weeks he had to wash himself in a bucket. He would heat up hot water in the kettle fill the hot fill a bucket with it. Take it upstairs to the bathroom and start to bathe himself. Is this a company? How are they still in business?
