Dr nakamura has been my family doctor for the past 30 years. She is extremely nice, professional and compassionate She refers to specialists to take care of me when the need occurs The receptionist in her office Patricia is the nicest and professional receptionist I have ever met. She understands the patients and if a referral should be sent to a specialist she does it immediately on the same day When I call her for an urgent appointment she understands the issue right away She is an amazing person

While the staff and my doctor have always been pleasant and professional, the scheduling system at this clinic is deeply frustrating. A few months ago, I tried to book an appointment and was told the earliest availability was eight weeks out. I recently attempted again and was shocked to find the next opening wasn’t until early December, even though it’s still August. That kind of delay is simply unreasonable. The only alternative offered was to use their “circle of care” system, which sent me to a clinic much farther away and at a time that was inconvenient for my schedule. It’s not a practical solution. Unfortunately, I’ve decided to switch practices and going to start looking shortly. Waiting two to four months for a basic appointment is not acceptable. Healthcare should be responsive, not something you need to plan for months in advance as if you can predict when you’ll get sick.

My experience with Dr. Nakamura has been great . The staff Secretary Patricia is the worst I have ever deal with she has no manners she is very difficult - she does not care if you are sick or not she send you to an other clinic or hospital. . It does not matter how sick I’m. I called office 9:00 am she answears phone puts it on hold and she hangs up I keep on calling until L I get Patricia when finally she answers she tells me in a very high voice saying you need to call at 9 am . -this happens every time I need to see my Doctor I feel very bad/sad that I’m forced to change Doctors because the abusive secretary. Dr. Nakamura you are an excellent doctor but it is extremely hard to get an appointment to see you

I'm extremely disappointed and confused by my experience. The clinic told me and advertises that they are accepting new patients, yet all of my appointments were cancelled without explanation. I took the time to fill out several forms and go through their request process, only for my 10-minute phone consultation to be abruptly rejected by Dr. Liane, and then again by Dr. Mandy. No one reached out to explain or offer to reschedule. They just cancelled all my appointment requests. This kind of treatment is not only disrespectful, but it’s also deeply unprofessional. It’s disheartening to be dismissed like this, especially when seeking care. This experience reinforces why so many people struggle to trust the healthcare system, when concerns are ignored and patients are treated as if their time and well-being don’t matter.

I’ve been coming here for a while but the service is far from where it should be. I called in on Feb to schedule and appt and the receptionist told me I wasn’t due for another 2 years. Until I got a letter from the government saying that I was past due. Additionally, they are not customer service oriented. I witnessed an old gentleman come in for a walk-in to be told to check in with the tablet. A tablet that would not turn on and he gave up and left. I think you should be able to read the room, and realize that sometimes the elder folks are not tech savvy. I pointed out the tablet to her, and she told me that the button was on the side. This being said, the nurses are fantastic. I wish we didn’t need a doctor, bc let’s be real. Having a 5 min appointment here with them is almost impossible.

Dr. Naama Bartfeld has a rule of one issue per visit — this “rule” led Naama to dismiss a cancerous lump my mother had and she has since switched physicians. I, unfortunately, gave Naama several more chances. Naama will dismiss you as a patient if you go to a walk-in clinic or see any other doctor that isn’t her, yet she is never available — she works in the office one day a week, 4 hours a day, and the rest of her appointments are virtual. However, you are never provided a designated time or time frame and are only told that Naama will call you on the specified date sometime within a 12 hour window so ensure that you’re next to your phone all day. Years ago I started a new medication and Naama informed me that if I experienced any unusual side effects to contact her secretary and she would put me through to Naama, even without an appointment — this happened a total of ONE time and her secretary, Angela Coluccio, said that this was complete news to her and that I would need to make an appointment to see Naama. Most recently, Naama implemented a new “rule” of $25 per prescription refill — the last time I called to get my prescription refilled, Naama provided me with the incorrect dosage. Please save yourself the stress and find an ethical physician who cares more about their patients than the $$$ in their bank account.

Thank you for your comment and we understand your frustration. If there is a need for earlier screening please book an online appointment with your doctor. Review the Gov letter directly with your doctor. Technology is challenging and we need to do better to help those who are not familiar with it. Thank you for bringing these issues up.
